Freespirit it defo does sound like an allergy, a referral from your GP to an allergy clinic would show what it was you are allergic too tho then you could avoid it or take an antihistamine and be prepared. I'm asthmatic and have notice that the aircon in our car sets me off weirdly it could be something as simple as that!
Ruth_honey hope your day improved, we always take things out on the ones we love most don't we? I'm sure you will be feeling brighter tomorrow both of youStress definitely won't be helping, that's a lot of organising/sorting you've got to do. I don't envy you that!

Hi, just found this site and I love Christmas so can I join in? Sadly Christmas was cancelled for me this year. Spent Christmas Day and Boxing Day visiting mum in hospital and spending time with my father. I did not even have a Christmas dinner, my main meal Christmas Day was a very cold cheese and onion pasty. As you can tell I am still feeling very sorry for myself. I have vowed that I will have a better Christmas next year and am looking forward to reading all your messages and ideas.January spend = £100

For those of you thinking about buying a breadmaker I would say go for it. I've had mine about 18 months now and I love it. I also used it to make jam when I was given quite a lot of strawberries.
I was lucky to be given a John Lewis voucher so I splashed out on this Panasonic model which has been fab. It's idiot proof and has produced so many different types of tasty bread.
I've also found that taking a freshly baked loaf or two to friends when I would normally have taken a bottle of wine or something else has gone down very well. Definitely one of my better gadget buys!
Zend - that sounds awful. Hope your parents are recovering now. Only 359 days until you get the chance to have a nice Christmas day.0 -
Welcome Zend you've really come to the right place:)

Can't remember who posted about puff eyes but I am allergic to animal fur (any animal) and my eyes do this quite often with me having animals and all the family having them too!! I get antihistamines from the doctor and they work really well!! Mines linked it with my asthma and ezhma (sp) but it deffinatly worth having an allergy test!!0

Morning, I'm not doing to great today. A few of you have mentioned having anxiety issues. I also get bouts of depression/anxiety. I had been fine for a while, but after my Mum passed away I have suffered quite badly with the anxiety.
I was havng panic attacks and got signed off work over Xmas.i didn't want to say on here as I often feel like a failure for not being able to cope.
Anyway I'm due back to work tomorrow and Wednesday, but I'm on call today, Thursday and Friday. Then I'm finished for good as I moved away.
But The phone rang at 6:30am, it was out of hours office calling me. I didn't answer as im not on call until 7am and they were chancing their luck. But now my heart is racing and I'm in a hit and cold sweat.
I feel I went back to work too soon after Mums funeral, I went back 1 week after she died. And I've just not had time to process it.
I'm tempted to see the doctor to see of I can get a sick line for another week, but then that means I won't be back at all before I move.
I'm due back at the doctor tomorrow for a review anyway as he put me on anti depressants.
I feel bad though, as nearly everyone I see on Fb is going back to work today and they are dealing with it.
I just get in a panic thinking about it. I'll spend the day wondering if the phone will ring. I'm on call until 7am tomorrow.
Sorry for the rambling. I'm just not feeling like my old self at all. X:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
