  • can i ask where you found them? maybe i missed them in whs then, i just assumed there would be a magazine!!

It does look like a magazine on the left of the massive piece of card with the books on the right, but it's just a leaflet pretending to be a magazine. I got it in WHS after not finding it in Sainsburys.

Fesity, I'm intrigued by the yeast issue! Can I ask what yeast you are using for white bread? I haven't experimented much with my breadmaker but it makes an alright (if somewhat dense) brown loaf.

Dresses are what bother me! Being busty (and never losing much off them, no matter what I try) means I can be sizes apart, top and bottom!

Sorry you and DH are snapping, is it just too much time together over Christmas? We're a bit like that, I joke it's OH's time of the month and he says it's eggshell time with me (as in walking on!) Think we'll benefit from other human contact this week!

Haven't used our bread maker in ages. I sometimes bought the Wrights bread mix for 'fancy' loaves. Very tasty.

I don't think it's too much time together, as he wasn't off work for long really. 2 days for Xmas and just the day for new years day, plus normal weekends together. It's probably just stress making us irritable. We've got to redecorate our living room due to a leaky pipe under the floorboards a few months ago. Had carpet assessor round yesterday & we're getting a new carpet. But first we need a major declutter so we can actually clear out the room. I don't know where they expect us to put our furniture when the rest of the flat is also furnished & there's no space to put a sofa, chair, tv unit & several bookcases!!! We only have 2 other rooms (not including the kitchen & bathroom because there's barely room to move in those, yet alone store anything extra in there) so we need to send some bits to the charity shop.

Oh dear that sounds terrible, why is it that the majority of the UK is ill during bank holiday period!! its not fair, we should only be ill on work's time! I have done the NSD about 1 year ago, I tried it for a few months. I think I will start a couple of these ideas to get me back on track after christmas, as it becomes quite normal to just be spending everyday and I don't think my bank balance will be able to take much more!

A fortnight of meals ready, thats amazing! I feel please with myself for having all the breakfasts and lunches ready for the next couple of days, but a fortnight! I bet you save a lot of money that way.
I would love a food calender from you!

Sorry to all the people that are taking the decorations down today, I did mine at New year to get it out the way, with going back to work so soon after new year, I couldn't bare to keep them up. Just focusing on making sure that this year is even better than the last.

Who's watching Got to Dance or Dancing On Ice tonight?

I've sky+ed DOI to watch later/tomorrow. Need to perv over Philip Schofield in private...;)
just been looking at tickets to take dh to see we will rock you in london in may (for his 40th - he doesnt do parties!) but the cheapest tickets are £50 each & so far back in the stalls we probably wont see a thing!! we have never been to see a show before so no idea what the theatres are like, if its worth going if were sat right at the back. i really want to treat him but is it worth paying that when i have to pay for hotel / meal / travel on top???

I was going to suggest Get Into London Theatre website, but just noticed you need tickets for May & the offer doesn't run then. :( I think last summer they ran the offer in June, but that doesn't mean they'll do it again. As its your first show, I would defiantly get the best seats you can. Look at Theatre Monkey for seat tips & advice-they're fab! Might be worth a call to the Dominion box office to ask for seat suggestions. I've seen that show twice (loved it, btw!) and we were sat in the stalls, near the front, but to the right. It's a big theatre and well laid out. I've booked tickets through Last Minute and Discount Theatre before. LM doesn't give seat numbers when you book, though. But I've always had a decent seat for what I've paid. If you can go mon/tues/wed or a matinee, you may get bumped forward to a higher priced seat.
As for hotel & food. Get a Taste card trial to reduce food costs and look at Premier Inn and Travelodge for cheaper rooms. You won't be in the room much anyway. Too much to see & do!

I have a feeling that for whatever reason Cookworks are no-longer making them - but as they are SO popular Amazon sellers have bought out the last stock and are charging ridiculous prices :(

There are some new ones on ebay though (unwanted gifts I think)

Do you know anyone in Essex. Our store has 2 available. If not, I don't mind getting one and posting it to you.

I bought a massive wheel arch from the highlands of Scotland last year and it got here the following day. It cost £16 to deliver, but that was because of the weight and size.
And I really mean it, I don't mind getting it for you.

*Louise* I have just paid £75 (with free postage) for a brand new one on ebay - plus I will get nectar points ;) You may get it for a few pence cheaper else-where but with postage most places are more (and no points). I went for the new one again just because I really loved my first one - I'm sure one of the other ladies can come along and give their experience on the others.

Is fitbit One or Ultra the newest one? The 'One' is £80 on Amazon with free delivery, but I have some vouchers I can use.

    I'm thinking you're right!!!

I think I'm going to go with a Russell Hobbs one (eta-£47) instead. Only downside is it's white when I wanted stainless steel but we cant have everything eh :D

Ps - Feisty - You're helping me spend loads tonight, thought this was moneysaving site??:money::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
