Currently having a lunch break after keeping going (although not at full speed) since just after 10. Smoked salmon on fresh brown bread. Yum. I'll follow it with a cuppa and one of DH's mince pies in a moment. I'll follow it with a cuppa and one of DH's mince pies in a moment.
The LR looks much better with the cards up and my flylady cards have pride of place around the fireplace. :j
DS1 has gone off to work, DS2 is playing with his friend next door and I have no idea where DH has got to. He was back from work well before lunchtime and then went into town. I suppose he'll just go to sleep in front of the telly when he gets in. Going to attack the kitchen/DR after my break. :T
I'm very pleased with myself because I've finally managed to phone the GP and made appointments for DS2 and myself, although I'd forgotten to put it on the list.

The house is tidy and I've prepped everything I can for now, thanks for your encouragement.
Happy Christmas to you all.Spend less now, work less later.0

Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
 Dust round the whole downstairs
Vacuum through downstairs I did this last night.. and the stairs! I might need to find a spoon for this or delegate, but the stairs do need attention
 Mop the kitchen floor!
Get out any special christmas crockery and make sure it is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too! - need to delegate DD1 and DD2 bringing plastic garden table in to be washed and sterilised.
Hopefully you have had a skim through the TV guide and decided what you want to watch.. it saves missing bits of stuff if you know what is on and when!! If not then make 5 minutes to do it today. Don't forget to make time for Queenie!
[STRIKE]Make a note of when the binmen are coming!!! [/STRIKE]I have one hour to get to the dump with the recycling I have sorted to make space for wrapping gibble, plastic bottles etc....as I don't want it all blown round the garden to pick up by me after the event - Made it to the dump with 10 minutes to spare :eek::eek::eek:
Spend half an hour doing NOTHING!!.. absolutely nothing!!!! Just sit.. and relax with a drink and a treat!
Sort out the plan for christmas eve.. shop runs, present drop offs etc - work in progress
Prepare veg for christmas dinner .. store covered in cold water overnight, it will be fine! remember to put a saucer ontop of veggies - esp potatoes and parsnips to keep them submerged, nothing looks worse than grey potatoes
Mix yorky pud batter for tomorrow and pop in the fridge overnight .. it is so much better if you leave it to stew.. quick whisk as use as normal
Prepare any other bits.. stuffing, salad etc. Make starters before bed.. sneaky but a great idea!
 Wash pots before bed!
Bath time to wear everyone out..
 S&S the kitchen
 S&S the bathroom
Get the roll of binbags at the ready
Set up the video & camera!!! Fully charged and ready to roll!! - Good idea Natty always forget and end up with 30 seconds phone footage instead
Quick whizz over the clutter and carpets..
Relax, enjoy yourselves and have a lovely time with your family!!
If it isn't done now you don't need it to be done it isn't important!
