that will most likely to check the stock for label swapping (people change tags so the sticker says £2 instead of £20) also to make sure sets are correct as people change the bottoms and tops around so if their kid is 8-9 top and 6-7 bottoms they will swap the bottoms from a smaller set and the last thing that could be happening is they are changing the fixtures it is on and it is easier to do that out the back

the sale is usually 6 weeks long with 75% around the 4th or 5th week so it will be end of January before they do much unless they sold more than normal in the pass week then the dregs of the sale (usually last 10% of the original sale stock) will be reduced early

I got my order. Two large cabinets with 4 storage baskets. Down from £80 to £40 to £32 with the discount.

Got them home and one of the cabinets had damage to one of the corners so I phoned customer services and it seems that I had to reorder and get a refund for this one (rather than a straight exchange) I realised that I wouldn't get the 20% off so told her that it was a hassle to do that so instead she offered to send me a £10 voucher if it was useable.

Pleased with the customer service (although their exchange policy could be improved)

ETA I just called their customer services line and a very helpful and nice lady was able to tell me my order is currently being packed and should be collected today and delivered on the 3rd

Placed an order 23rd Dec - order still not received although it does say to allow 5 working days

Is anyone else having trouble tracking their parcel? I ordered 23rd dec, and when i click to track my parcel the last update was fri 28th dec. It says delivery up until 1st jan 8pm, but no more updates since 28th :S Anyone else had this?

Surprise surprise, I've had a refund for the dress I wanted most on my order. So annoyed they've taken a week to tell me it's out of stock. I've ordered in the next size up, as it's still showing as available and I'm between the two sizes anyway, but what's betting in a week's time they do the same again. Not good enough Matalan. Phone call coming to you CSD tomorrow.

I think matalan online is the worst company i have ever dealt with, i placed an order in november and there was an item missing and a damaged item, i phoned up and was told i needed to put it in writing in an email, a week later i had no response so phoned and they said they would issue a refund, 2 weeks later, still no refund, phoned them again and was told it can take 28 days for a refund to to be received, it is now january and i have still not received a refund, i will never order online again.

Complain on their Facebook page,you usually have more luck there as they don't like the bad publicity.

Had an email earlier saying there will be more reductions from the 11th instore - or online today!
