    I'm working everything bar Sunday's, 25th, 26th & 31st December.

I guess i'm lucky as i've had many Xmas' off over the years. I wasn't allowed this one as i had last year, even though another person has had every single Xmas since they began about 5-7 years ago & was allowed this year as well.

It's going to be long & painful as there's going to be sod all customers to serve.

Could be worse though. I could be like other people & have to work the bank holidays. Even these people are lucky as i could be like many others & out of a job. Got to think of the positives.
  • I'm in my 50s and have never worked between Christmas Day and New Years Day. This year I finished on Friday 21st Dec and go back on 2nd Jan

Working 27th,3rd & 4th. Dont mind as OH is working anyway. My work is closed for 2 weeks but said i'd do a few extra days to let other people have time off from kitchens that are open right through. Never worked christmas day, always end up working my holidays so try to keep christmas day & boxing day free.

I'm working Xmas Eve until 1pm, hoping to get off a bit earlier though. Can't imagine many people with be looking for loans or overdraft increases ! Back to work on 27th.

January however, will be a different kettle of fish ! :D
