Can you use virgin media box after disconnecting their services?

Hi All, Is it possible to keep using virgin media vbox after the services are disconnected. If yes, what channels are normally viewable. I have been with VM for years now and TV is just used for watching CBeebies :) Cheers

They do but that would have cost me in petrol. It was Virgin who told me to put it in the bin. I had cancelled their services due to a price hike so wasn't going to spend my money on it either. This was Virgin's equipment and as far as I was concerned, they could take it back.
