Fudge was a disaster .... Didn't set ... Will pour over icecream instead! Crafting projects were much better once I got the hang of sewing machine... Not sure i have the patience for pinning tacking sewing straight but my daughter is delighted with the little skirts I made ... Total cost £5 for 2 skirts and matching hair bands. Very similar to ones retailing at £30 online.... Obviously those will have nice straight sewing! But hey my 3 yrs old loves them.... Priceless! Not sure what the next challenge will be... Any ideas? Good luck with your challenges all and keep us posted! No more toys til Xmas 2022 , mfw 2023 challenge , Trying to not waste food , time or money and appreciate the moment more!0

Would you mind if I tagged along?
I'm 30wks pregnant and my maternity leave starts on 1st feb so I've already started coming up with a list of things I'd like to do each week.
This week I wanted to finish the new baby's personalised baby blanket which I'm very proud of. I made one for my nearly 4 year old and as we've made a pact to treat them equal so that's one thing off my list!
I also made my husbands birthday cake and used up the last of the xmas chocolate.
This week I want to inventory the medicine cabinet and set up reminders for when things go out of date - sounds anal but fed up of having loads of different cough mixtures open and all going out of date at the same time.
As its just me and my oldest until end of Jan, I'm planning on doing very small food shops if needed. Not only to help with the bank balance but to get the freezer and cupboards empty for a deep clean.
It's my 30th birthday when husband gets home from Bermuda so I want to make sure I'm thoroughly spoilt
I'm doing homemade birthdays and Xmas..... Or personalised gifts. I've made my nan vanilla infused preserving sugar. We both make a lot of jams etc and so I had all the ingredients and spent about £3.50 on a nice resusable jar for her to keep.
My other nan I'm a little stuck with....probably a homemade goodies food hamper.
Might forward plan the rest of the year so I've got something to concentrate on as I get bored very easily in my free time.Cabot (0%) left to pay £2455 let the overpayments commence!0 -

Hi, still finding this challenge thread difficult. Last week just involved sorting out the kitchen/food ingredients which wasn't too dissimilar to what I normally do. However, the task did make me think why I do this a lot, along with other repetitive tasks. For the next challenge, I'll be working upon improved time management.0
