Wow, so many replies, thank you all. I'm only updating because you were all kind enough to post a reply.

It's good to know that this awful man is all hot air. Since I made my first purchase his feedback has dropped from 99.7% to 99.1% and as yet I've had no more nasty messages. I'm not the only one, I had a message from another buyer who asked me if I suspected the seller of dropshipping. I had to google what that was and I'll be honest, it does look quite likely. Is that against ebay policy or is it just frowned upon because it's bad for business?

Anyway, when the 21 days are up I will be asking where by summons is, against the advice of my husband. My husband also advised that I didn't name and shame but if anyone is actually interested you can PM me and I'll let you write it instead of me lol.

Happy New Year everyone, you made sure I've bee able to laugh about this rather than stress about it.

Oh, and I tried ringing ebay to no avail. I discovered that when it comes to abusive sellers they really aren't all that interested, especially those who sell a thousand items a month.
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

Dropshipping is allowed, lots do it quite successfully but it can be troublesome if you don't know what you are doing.

I'd leave the seller alone and draw a line under it if I were you.

Sellers who's feedback drops and detailed seller ratings drop will have eventually be struck off Ebay within the system. This can be a bit too slow for the really bad sellers but it does happen.

I agree with RFW, let it be, he'll be NARU fairly soon into the New Year.

Naming him will just get your thread pulled, which would be a shame as it contains lots of useful advice for the next person who suffers a similar problem.

Naming and shaming isn't allowed on the eBay forums, for all the right reasons really as we often only get to hear one side of the story so you can appreciate its not the best idea to do it.
