No, not here yet. I called the helpline at 16.15 and they said they would call the store and get the store to call back. By 17.00 I went to call them back and heard my moblie ringing. They had called me at 16.15 but I didn't hear it (because I was on the other line to the helpline) Anyway, apparently my card would not go through. She read it out and it appears I had put the wrong month on the expiry date.
But why did the card go through online then, if it was wrong??
She said she had to put it through the till. Does that mean my card details are floating around in a Waitrose store somewhere?

Anyway now I have to be rescheduled because of that. Still waiting.
I'll just be happy if I get it, I have no intention of going to the shops, oh no.

Keep your fingers crossed, when Ocado screwed up an old colleagues Christmas order he got it for free. We got our wedding cupcakes for free (and a bottle of champagne :T ) when Waitrose forgot to order them :)

  • My order from Tesco was 30 minutes late, four items not included despite ordering weeks ago, one item was past the Best Before date.

Doesn't matter how early you order, it all depends if there is stock when they pick your order. The only thing they tend to reserve at Christmas are Turkeys.
  • Mr T's this morning.

    All in stock............all delivered.............no subs.

so what that it was an hour out of my time slot - they text me well in advance to let me know.
    :D

Only problem now is I forgot to order ham or potatoes and hubby has stupidly opened the squirty cream..........so have told him HE can get them...........but I may still go to little tesco tomorrow just to get out the house with the 2 small kids.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • I received my order last night from Asda. 4 subs sent them back.

Ordered 3 150gm pouches Alta Rica Coffee, and the sent 1 pouch and 2 100gm jars, they didn't put that in the subs section, very sneaky of them, but the driver very kindly scanned the pouch and refunded it.

2 large pots of cream with boxing day dates on  If it can be frozen then that's what I'll do.

Order from Tesco just came, 4 substitutions, none in my favour and when unpacked, we found 5 frozen items missing and a Christmas Party Selection Pack with an expiry date of tomorrow.

Just tried to call them and get the message 'due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot answer your call right now'

Well, at least they delivered the turkey I suppose...
  • My order from Tesco came ,all in stock and i put a note to pickers for items to be dated 25th or later and i was most impressed everything 25th or later

I had a mr t the other day, I remember looking out of the window and seeing the van up the road and thinking "oh mine will be here this aft" then my phone goes; "hi love it's tesco, we are in your street, do you want it now?" bless him he said he wouldn't have had a lunch break otherwise.

I had a few subs but just of brand not actual item, except I had ordered some dinosaur candles for DS birthday (not for weeks yet). I wanted 4 and they only had one so sent that plus three packs of 6 pirate candles :rotfl: I thought "thank gawd he's not 18 and wanting a dinosaur cake" heheh.

Anyway, he doesn't like pirates. Hopefully I can get the other three candles in the next month...

Tesco arrived yesterday at 2.20pm (2-3pm slot) 3 subs. Two were fine as they were just cheeses which we were fine with.

The third was a laugh...ordered 2 bottles of Bucks Fizz and they sent 4 small bottles of Snowball!!

Sent back and refunded..even the driver thought it was funny.

Happy, happy.....but then I found myself in Sainsburys later in the afternoon looking for Bucks Fizz (and spent more £££)....!:rotfl:

    Merry Chrsitmas
