So how was your Christmas grocery delivery?
Mine arrived this morning and was mostly present and correct. 2 substitutions which were fine, a different pack of stir fry veg and 3 x 100g of smoked salmon instead of 1 x 300g (which made it a whole lot easier to freeze some!)
Three short-dated items (all non meat so will be okay anyway) which Mr T have refunded me £6.75 for
I'm quite impressed how well they did really (way better than the year Mr A delivered our Christmas shop) so thanks to whoever it was that alerted me to the delivery shots coming up and also to the Mr T employee on here who suggested going for a slightly later time than my original 8-9am slot in case there were restrictions on unloading fresh supplies to the store before 8am

Ocado.. as I am an annual Delivery Pass and Total Savings Pass holder I was really annoyed that slots the week before Christmas would be 6.99 so my last pre-Christmas delivery was on the 15th. No damage, no substitutions, nothing unavailable, on time - service as usual.
I've got the fresh stuff arriving on Christmas Eve from Abel & Cole, because the supermarkets here just don't sell much organic food.0 -
Not sure if it counts but I ordered a load of last minute bits from the milkman (Milk & More) and hardly any of it arrived! Totally useless!0

Order came yesterday, all ok except one issue.
Oddly I noticed some products had become unavailable midweek so I had to revise my order even further. They upped the quantity of one product so I deleted it.
Weirdly the deleted product (confirmed by email) still came.
Anyway they were good and refunded me with a couple of quid on top.

Had Tesco last night (7-9pm slot), and we didn't order anything vital.
Bananas came with a 2 day use by date so will be seeking a refund (they say 2+ on website).
No Mccain (orange bag) big bag frozen chips (or small ones apparently as that's my "look for instead") and the other type of McCain they supplied had to be sent back.
They also charged me for 2 packs of cheese top sub rolls which were missing, is a shame because I am on a limited diet and i look forward to those every month, not easy for me to get to a store.
I confess apart from noticing the short date on the bananas I haven't checked the other fresh produce yet.0 -
I had my Tesco delivery today, I had a text message to say it would be here between 1 & 2pm, but he turned up slightly earlier at 12.30.
The only things that were substituted was a pizza and a bag of sweets, everything else was there. I didn't really order much fresh stuff, as I'm going to get that from Asda tomorrowStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090 -
I collected from my local Tesco yesterday. Missing Turkey, which was quickly supplied by a very helpful CS staff member in store (but that's not the point)
I had ordered a frozen bird and booked my collection spot well in advance. Went to add to my order on Tuesday and got a 'we no longer stock this item, perhaps you'd like this (own brand) instead' When I queried this with CS they said not to worry, it was a 'glitch' and I would get my bird as they had been specifically pre ordered.
Checked again Tuesday evening - no turkey showing, phoned again and was told again not to worry (she actually laughed, which I wasn't impressed about) and I would get my turkey.
So when I arrived last night to collect it, and the lad said everything was there, I could have kissed him - until we realised the blessed bird WAS missing.......
08.30 this morning I had a phone call from the store manager saying he'd got a message that I hadn't got my turkey and would I like him to get one from the store and arrange for it to be delivered...
Every bloomin' year somehow Tesco's manage to screw it up - last year it was the snow, when they phoned and said they couldn't deliver, and then turned up!Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Mine's due from Waitrose between 2 and 4 today. Currently 15.22.....0

I was in the 11 to 12 slot this morning.
They arrived at 10.52, and had everything I wanted, and even tried to give a bag of someone elses shopping, which I gave back to them.Early retired - 18th December 2014
