We had Asda delivery this morning, a few subs but didn't complain as the ham joint and chicken were subbed with bigger/better ones and obviously paid price for ones we ordered.
Few dips subbed which I offered back but the date on them was the 27th so he asked why we didn't want them and I said I wasn't sure we'd like them...so he said he'd refund them but we could keep them as they would be thrown away.0 -
Ocado 12-1pm drop arrived at 11.40
no problem with that & he did try & call but phone was upstairs!
1 sub and 1 not available, and 1 not the same as I ordered!

But all the better for me.

What may have happened is say your order was picked in the morning the shelf was empty of the irish mist so a sub was made but a few hours late the store had a delivery and on that delivery was the irish mist which was consequently replenished
OR
Whoever picked your order didnt ask if there was any irish mist in the store so subbed it and the shelf was replenished onc eit was brought to the attgention of the relevant person.0 -
No, not here yet. I called the helpline at 16.15 and they said they would call the store and get the store to call back. By 17.00 I went to call them back and heard my moblie ringing. They had called me at 16.15 but I didn't hear it (because I was on the other line to the helpline) Anyway, apparently my card would not go through. She read it out and it appears I had put the wrong month on the expiry date.
But why did the card go through online then, if it was wrong??
She said she had to put it through the till. Does that mean my card details are floating around in a Waitrose store somewhere?
Anyway now I have to be rescheduled because of that. Still waiting.
I'll just be happy if I get it, I have no intention of going to the shops, oh no.0 -

Well what happens at work with declined cards is the call centre calls the relevant store and speak to a member of the online team who then process the transaction through a till. I dont work for Waaitrose but for JS, usually the declined cards are sorted out before the delivery is attempted which looks like maybe its not something Waitrose do.
Would have expected the store to have called you before your actual slot of 2 - 4 but again maybe its not what Waitrose do.0 -
My Ocado order arrived right on time, nothing missing and everything dated until after Christmas.:j
I have some more being delivered from Tesco tomorrow so will wait and see. A few items have been pre-ordered so should by rights, all be delivered. I can't cancel them online now, so neither should they be able to.;)Felines are my favourite

Mine was delivered this am on time and with 3 subs.
The smoked salmon was swapped for 3 smaller packs and I was only charged the same so win win for me as another poster says. I can freeze it!
No chatanay carrots :-(
and heinz beans instead of branston (only ordered Branston as on offer)
1 of my eggs was broken but I rang Mr T and the box was refunded. I think this is more due to the flimsy duck egg boxes as I have had this before.0 -

How annoying! That's what happened the year we ordered from Mr A and then ended up still having to go shopping :mad:Raksha wrote:I collected from my local Tesco yesterday. Missing Turkey, which was quickly supplied by a very helpful CS staff member in store (but that's not the point)
I had ordered a frozen bird and booked my collection spot well in advance. Went to add to my order on Tuesday and got a 'we no longer stock this item, perhaps you'd like this (own brand) instead' When I queried this with CS they said not to worry, it was a 'glitch' and I would get my bird as they had been specifically pre ordered.
Checked again Tuesday evening - no turkey showing, phoned again and was told again not to worry (she actually laughed, which I wasn't impressed about) and I would get my turkey.
So when I arrived last night to collect it, and the lad said everything was there, I could have kissed him - until we realised the blessed bird WAS missing.......
08.30 this morning I had a phone call from the store manager saying he'd got a message that I hadn't got my turkey and would I like him to get one from the store and arrange for it to be delivered...
Perhaps they were still trying to catch it.:rotfl:welshee wrote:I ordered 4 bottles of irish mist and got 4 bottles of baileys subbed.
