If you mean cashbacknetwork.co.uk, then I joined them last month. My first siginficant purchase , with a furniture company not on quidco etc, tracked fine. It's too soon to know about payment coming through.

I will check, but I dont think you have to give these guys bank details for payment, if that is what concerns your mum.

Keep this thread going, if you want me comment further when first payment should be due.

    computersaysmaybe :-)

hello, did you get paid, in other words is cashbacknetwork any good? Thanks.

    Hi all -

I've used Topcashback for 4 months now and have found it very reliable. Very few tracking issues- just one (from Ebay) failed so far out of 30-odd deals.

Something I don't see mentioned in the main articles is that regular users get more than 100% cashback! I started off with a £70 car insurance cashback, and was delighted to find that on the strength of that my cashback % jumped straight to 104%. It has since slipped to 103%, but who's worrying?!

I've been using the Topcashback.co.uk for a few weeks and got a few quid collected up.

Im looking at opening the A&L current account to get the £50 cashback.
Im planning on opening it, paying in the minimum £500 a month then taking £300 back out after a few days. Once I get the cahback payment i will close the account.

Would this work/ matter? I read somewhere closing a bank account will show on your credit rating and could effect it. I currently have a good credit rating never going over agreed overdraft and no debts.

    Any help appreciated!

Well, it won't affect your eligibility for cashback. Worth noting though, that I did this and it tracked with TCB but is still showing as 0.00 and I'm having to claim manually. Plenty of people have had it track and pay fine though.

you could wait until A&L offer an incentive to open an account too. I got £50 for OH opening and account and he got the £100 they were offering to open an account. And previously my daughter got cashback and I got a referral fee from A&L. So look whats around and best for you. I recently opened an HSBC account for £50 cashback where there isnt a minimum pay in amount each month. All through Quidco I might add with no problems.

But would closing it as soon as I got the cashback from them affect anything?

No as long as you have met all the conditions of the account, such as the minumum funding requirements. However, as p00 says, A&L will no doubt start another £100 incentive for opening an account soon enough. So, you'd be better waiting for one of these offers and get that along with the cashback.

For those who opened the A&L account for the 50 quid on Quidco - what are the terms applied to the account. i.e. do you have to put a certain amount into the account/how long does the account have to be open for etc?

    Cheers

You have to put £500 in each month, but can take that out again.
  • Hello to all

After seeing a few bits about Cashback sites I actually read about them yesterday, and decided to join Quidco (at about 1pm).

As yet, and after requesting several "re-sends", I've not received my activation email.

Is it normal for such a lag...or have I done (or not done) something wrong?

    Thanks
