    Just a quickie....
I got a flyer from H&M through the post today and noticed these cardis are on offer again at £7.99.

I have a bright red one I bought about a year ago and have worn it to death - remarkably for the price it has washed well and kept its shape.

At that price I've bought another 2 - one black and one blue.

Just thought someone might be interested? A cheap way to add a bit of colour to your wardrobe. :)
Just a word of caution though - it is H&M and the sizes are not generous!

Flipping typical! - Just found some codes for money off at H&M - too late for me but may help someone else.
    0241 - 25% off 1 item
    1304 - £5 off

    Good evening ladies,
Just popped in to say if you have a minute, wrap up warm and have a look at the night sky, Such a clear night the moon and stars are so bright  OK, nothing to do with fabbing but it really gave me a feel good moment. The comet I saw a couple of days ago was minuscule compared to the on that fell on Russia

Sparkles, hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Bitsy, I will have a look.

    Goodnight ladies, happy fabbing.

Afternoon all! Another lovely day here - quite warm in the sunshine. I did 3 revision sessions today - thats 6 in all and I should get about £250 after tax for doing them so a nice little sum.

Afterwards, I took the dog for a good brisk 90 min walk along the river and around a nature reserve. A nice bit of exercise and fresh air - woofer has retired to sleep now - he only has little legs.

My holiday has officially started now - although I have loads to do so I won't get much of a rest. My mum and sister are arriving on Thursday for a few days so tomorrow will be cleaning day along with some exercise and schoolwork.
I have my hair appointment on Saturday and of course there's the rugby to watch, cinema booked for the evening and then I'm off on an 8 mile walk on Sunday with the Spice lot.
Its a good job I'm useless at sitting around doing nothing :rotfl:

Quiet here today so I hope you're all out enjoying the weather.

I am feeling much better today thankfully. Back to work tomorrow, have got all my work stuff ready to go including clothes and snacks.

Will get exercise stuff out and see if I feel up to it when I get back or leave it while the weekend.

Took my coat back for a refund as it was too small, posted the ebay sale, popped in to get some milk and decided to use my vouchers for some other bits and bobs. Also picked up some bargain Christmas bags and a card to put away for later, all for 67p!

Did some uni reading of boring reports - all saying the same really in 3 documents, will read another one later then its onto the books this weekend and search for some more and more.........

Glad to be feeling nearly back to normal - looks like I need to restart the echinecea again after running out last week - it all kicks in.

No personal fabbing above the usual routines. It's all about the house grrrr. I shouldn't complain as viewings are what we want but it's a heck of a lot of work to get the house show room tidy, during half term week, with kids at home, one of whom has been really poorly with a high temperature all last night and today and a dog who has decided to mould for England

Anyway just thought I would check in. Another fast day today. Have gone over calorie allowance but am afraid after a night of little sleep thanks to restless little lady I needed something extra to keep me going :o

On the plus side I really enjoyed walking the dog this afternoon in the gorgeous sunshine :D

Hugs and high fives all round xx

WW enjoy your break now x

    Good morning everyone

Finally I have a day to myself today. I've spent the last three days running around after sick people!!! Yesterday, door to door, was an 11 hour marathon. Took OH to Nottingham for his Lumbar Puncture, it was gruelling - bad enough for me but must have been dreadful for him. Luckily he did manage to sleep a fair bit of the time - but oh my - those plastic hospital chairs are not comfortable for hours on end.....

We had the usual chaos of lost notes, no-body knowing anything about OH's condition or why his proceedure had been requested. I made them find out before I allowed them to do anything.

There are several types of lumbar puncture and I wanted to make absolutely sure that they got what they needed and did the right tests first time. There's no way I was going to allow them to do it twice unnecessarily. It's a very unpleasant and risky proceedure. The fewer times it needs to be done the better.

I also insisted that they set up a drip for fluids to make sure he was sufficiently hydrated. He has swallowing difficulties and there is no way he could have drank the required amount of water afterwards.
Anyway it's done, he can sleep it off today and today is just for me. :)

Some fabbing, some pottering about, and a bit of a mooch round some nice shops. Not forgetting some exercise of course. Am now up to 2km on the exercise bike, although I didn't manage anything yesterday - just collapsed on the sofa when I did finally get home.

WW - hope you are finally getting to enjoy your half term break, hope your family visit goes well.

Bitsy - hope the viewings go ok, hopefully all your hard work will bear fruit soon. It's awful when children are poorly, hope all is well soon.

Sparkles - glad to see you are feeling better.

BTW - my sister now has a new dog. Another rescue dog - not seen him yet but apparently he has already made himself at home, sleeping on the end of my niece's bed.

Right time to get cracking. Have a good day.

Bitsy - good luck with the house sale, it must be very wearing. Its one of the reasons I haven't moved for 11 years - just the thought of it brings me out in a cold sweat. Hope the little one feels better today.

LL - at least the ordeal of the hospital visit is over with for now for OH and yourself. You were right to insist on double checking and getting it right first time, and the waiting around all day is exhausting. Hope you have a nice day pottering around today.

Well, today will be a combination of dog walking, a bit of sweaty exercise, cleaning and schoolwork to get it out of the way before the visitors arive tomorrow. I did a big clean on the weekend so its just a matter of "topping up" today.
I might pop to the library to pick up some books I've reserved if I'm over that way with the dog. One is for a book club meeting in a week or two so I'd better get on with it!

    Morning all!
Its very quiet here this week - where are you all?

My mum and sister are coming to stay for a few days today so I'm up early to get a bit of work done this morning before they arrive around lunchtime.
I picked up a book called the Rough Guide to Wales at the library and am now toying with the idea of going away for a few days during the Easter holidays. Only to Snowdonia - nowhere tropical. I've found a nice hotel that has a great midweek offer on at £35 a night for me and the dog so its not going to break the bank.
Was thinking about just doing a bit of walking and having a change of scene to give me something to look forward to.
Will mull it over today and maybe book it later if the idea still appeals.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all,

Just a quick one this morning.
    Sparkles - hope you're feeling better x
Bitsy - glad the fasting seems to be going well
LL - sounds a stressful day for you and OH, at least it's over with now so hope you managed to enjoy your 'me' day :)
WW - hope family have a good visit, the break away sounds like a good plan - nice to have a bit of a change of scenery if nothing else. Am a bit disappointed as me and OH were supposed to be filming a wedding at Pitlochry in a few weeks and the guy has now cancelled on us. We were going to stop overnight and have a day or two up there so was quite looking forward to that :(

Anyway, not much to report, managed to get my photo work finished at least, though now behind on the writing, plus OH needs help with a load of stuff. It's been quite funny at work this week, lass has apparently decided that since she's leaving at the end of next week she doesn't give a cack anymore! Was two hours late on Tuesday, three quarters of an hour late yesterday and brought her dog into work with her :rotfl:It's a pup and apparently her OH got called into work, they had no one else who could pop in and so she couldn't leave it alone for 8hrs. It is the teeniest dog I think I've ever seen - about half the size of my cat! Suppose it made the day slightly more interesting, we're all sat here on tenterhooks for what might happen today :D
Not much fabbing to report. I am going to try and have a bit of 'me' time this weekend. Thinking maybe piccies on Sat morning for a start.
Hope everyone has a good day x
