    Good morning all

Well I had a lovely evening. Took DS2 to the seminar. Without wishing to appear too much of a know it all, I didn't learn anything that I didn't already know or that I can't find out for myself, but it was a good exercise for himself.

It gave him a boost and something to think about. I could see the wheels turning:rotfl:

Afterwards we went to a nice trendy bistro for supper. He was driving so I was actually able to have a glass of wine, whilst he dutifully had a soft drink. It's nice having grown up children who can act as a chauffeur now and again.;)

Today I do have to do some paperwork, online banking etc but I can do that later. First I'm going to have a day off:j.

I'm going to get dolled up and go exploring. I'm going to have a little mooch round a shopping centre and maybe a spot of lunch or at least a morning coffeee somewhere.

    Have a good day.

Hewie - have a hug to keep you going.

Hugs to all. Hope you're ok Hewie.

I've been spoiling myself. A long over due haircut yesterday. A facial today. Who knew pampering could be so tiring?!

I also dropped down a gear too. Yesterday was manic with no lunch til gone 4. So I'm not doing that again.

Been doing my physio exercises to help things there.

    Good afternoon ladies,
Soooo, I've been AWOL for a while, it's been rather hectic few weeks!
I have been thoughtless about my me time and can feel the weight creeping on, skin very dry, just all round carp  Someone please give me a kick up the bam.
I was hoping for a better year than the last one. Already had two bouts of bad news  But, this time I am going to keep my optimistic attitude to the fore and hopefully get through. I think it is the 'not being able to do anything' that gets to me.

Sending hugs to all who need them and, a pat on the back for all who are doing well.

    Take care everyone
    Carmen xx

Hey Twinnie - glad to see you back again. Consider your derriere well and truly kicked.

Know what you mean about bad news - it just seems to keep coming here too at the moment. Relentless.

I refuse to be downhearted though - maybe I've just had so much bad news and trauma now that I'm becoming immune....

OH still unwell, his chest infection won't clear, but he's not too bad. He is slowly responding to the meds. One day it will probably be a chest infection that kills him - but not this time, not this day.:D

Anyway Twinnie - hope things pick up for you soon.

    Fab Friday today

I am wearing brown jeans and matching cardi with a lime green top - very bright and cheery. DS2 commented that I look like a fig - all brown and green.:rotfl:

Time for a nap, a bit of pottering and then cook dinner and then an earlyish night. I'm done for.

Afternoon all - thank crunchie its friday! What a week - again
I don't know why work has gone bonkers all of a sudden but its just relentless at the moment. I'm constantly working all day, at home in the evenings and a lot of the weekend. Only 2 weeks to go to half term - thankfully! I love my job but there's only so much one person can do!

Anyway, I'm going to have a day off tomorrow - everything can stay in the downstairs loo until Sunday - just the right place for some of the kids' books!

The Six Nations rugby starts again tomorrow so the day will revolve around that - with a load of cleaning, washing, shopping, bit of exercise and dog walking thrown in for good measure.

Going to have a glass of something and some chocolate tonight - the diet hasn't gone too badly this week, will weigh tomorrow but I don't think I've put any weight on - I'm just yoyo-ing 2 lbs back and forth from my target I reached in November-ish - can't be too displeased with that I suppose.
A nice long bath, an all over scrub and defuzz and flop on the sofa is all I'm good for tonight. Should be raring to go tomorrow after a little rest.
    Lets hope so!:rotfl:

Sorry to hear so many are having a tricky time atm. Things here are mixed and I am determined to focus on the potential of this year instead of writing it off in month one.

We are hoping to make some big change to our lives this year and to achieve this I need to be happy and healthy so I am taking steps to get my dubious eating habits sorted. This evening I am doing a bit of reading and research and I am going to make a healthier meal plan for the next few weeks to help me keep on track. I am looking to cut out caffeine and sugar and increase the fruit and veg. Weight loss would be more than welcome however the main aim is to feel better. A good multivitamin is also on the way.

As I have mentioned before exercise is where I really fall down as I have an intense dislike of it :o however I do like walking and I am going to make a concerted effort to get out and get as much fresh air as possible. The garden will be ready for some care soon which will help me feel calm and to get healthy.

I am going to step up my skin care regime as I have noticed my skin is lacking sparkle.

So lots to think about and do :D

My skin is all over the place atm and certanly not sparkling like it used to - hoping it improves over the next 4 week cycle.

A very busy day yesterday after work - did half the cleaning, dyed hair, tidied nails up, shopping, birthday cake baked and decorated and also an hour of exercise.

Off to see mum today as its her birthday this weekend. We are having a day out together later in the spring as a present. Bought a nice bunch of flowers to take over along with a little cake as requested. Looking to fab myself up today in a nice outfit then off out on a leaving do tonight - aiming to be ultra frugal for this. Not buying anything new and driving too!
