HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
Great goals all and what a positive start to the new year!
I am already starting to feel a bit concerned about going back to work on Monday... had better start lesson planning this evening. No point in worrying when I could be doing![STRIKE]7lbs to lose [/STRIKE]

Good evening ladies,
Wonderful positive posts for the start of another year :j:j
Maman, hope you are feeling better.
LL, how is your eye, better I hope?
Welcome aboard all new comers:)
I have had a funny old day today, had a craving for something but not knowing what. I'm pleased I managed to keep away (just) from
the goodiesmunched on carrots and drank a lot of water (thirst can sometimes be mistaken for hunger) which helped.

No fabbing for me today. I did have a shower and wash my hair, but didnt remember to moisturise etc. Better try harder tomorrow. But I was not at my home so didnt have my things to hand. So thats my excuse anyway.
Have a bath pillow amongst my christmas gifts as well as the annual Dove collection of bits and pieces. So a soak in the tub will be a bit more luxury later on. (If I get the chance, DGD has to have her bath first, and I am so tired! I may not make it late tonight). When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Happy new year to you all.
Been having a long think about this year and my plans are as follows
To finally get to my goal weight as my extra weight makes me feel tired and old.
To run 5k without stopping as I need exercise but need a target too
To hopefully stop taking tablets to stop migraines. When I eat healthier and exercise my head starts to feel better
To have fun this year. Learn not to stress.
To be fab by introducing small things to my routine to make me look and feel better.
Love reading this thread . You are all an inspiration to me.2013 will be the year I go from frump to fab. With help from my friends.0 -
Evening...
Decs down, washing done, beds changed and mini spring clean!
Have booked in my hair appointment for next week and also my eyebrow waxing etc!
Tomorrow I'm picking up my order from Boots and then off to the supermarket for the healthy food!
Keep up the fabbing!

I got some lovely lotions and potions for Christmas and now have them all lined up on my bathroom window. So far I have managed to moisturise every day and am enjoying using them up rather than them sitting in a drawer gathering dust. Had a lovely long walk on the beach in the sunshine today which blew away the cobwebs.
Chicken dinner tonight with extra spinach to get those iron levels up. I bought a glut of fruit and veg on Friday to kick start my diet and was shocked at the check out when it came to nearly double the price of the weekly shop. I have therefore decided to start a veg patch to grow some of our own as a money saving initiative. I have space in the garden but no idea beyond cress on the window sill! Luckily my dad is quite an expert and is coming over at the weekend to help get me started. Apparently you need to get going early on in the year. It should be good exercise too with all the weeding/chasing the dog around the garden when he pulls up all the carrots etc0 -
Thorough fabbing session of face scrub, mask and hair mask :j
Started off eating ok but the temptation of the haul of xmas stuff became too much... But we did go on a long walk
I've set a big declutter target hoping that will distract me from snacking.
Currently changing all hangers to those velvety thin ones instead of lots of different ones. So it looks more like a nice boutique rail!

Hi All
Did my Wii this morn, lost 2 pounds ,do not know how, tried to finish off the tin of roses last night.
Took down decs, did some light housework and a short potter in garden.
Went with neighbour and pooch for walkies along the local beach, most of the world had the same idea.
Went out in a pair of jeans tightly belted or they would have fallen down :j.
So sorted out my jeans 2 in charity bag ,have 4 pairs loose but wearable for gardening, 3 pairs fit me nice :dance:Do I need it or just want it.0 -
Evening all.
Got out for a bit of a walk this afternoon and feel much better for the fresh air.
Back to work for me tomorrow:( so have got my packed lunch out of the freezer and have turfed out all the rubbish from my 'work' bag, which I just shove in a corner when I'm not at work.
Maman, my bags are legendary! I like massive ones I can cram full of all sorts of rubbish. I spend lots of time at tills saying 'I know it's in here somewhere..' It's a standing joke that I never answer my mobile first time round because I can't find it. However if anyone needs a paracetamol, I have a nice selection of over the counter drugs, I have make up (though never the bits I want), I have hair clips, I sometimes have scissors, camera, screwdrivers etc etc. I got stopped recently going through a security metal detector and had to hand over a set of darts and a pair of scissors.
I would love to have a neat clutch bag with my money, phone and a lipstick but it just isn't me!0 -
Esmy - your bag sounds a bit like mine! Anyone desperate for an emery board, poo bag for the dog, 3 yr old chewimg gum or receipt for something bought 6 months ago?I'm your girl! :rotfl:
Well loads of people are back at work today (I'm back on Monday) and so I'm going to have a schoolwork day. Will make myself do a load of yr 9 and yr 11 planning and a set of books to mark. Will feel so much better when its done.
Not sure about exercise today yet - feel a bit stiff and woolly headed, hope its not a cold coming on. I'll walk the dog and see how I feel after a bit of fresh air.
I've managed to get the dog a groomers appointment for tomorrow - he's got a very interesting haircut at the moment with various bits shaved off by the vet but is better now and can have a proper bath and haircut. Not sure what she'll be able to do with him but anything is better than he is now - bit of dog fabbing on the cards!:)
Right better get on with the day.....0
