Child being bullied

Hi, not sure if anyone can help, but I need to know how I can make a copy of an answerphone message so that I can store it as a recording on my computer.
What I want to do, is post the recording on my daughter's facebook page and see if anyone recognises the voices on the message.
My daughter is being bullied at school and we are sure we know who it is but as they are witholding the telephone number, it's a bit difficult to prove. The school are now involved and I want to be able to forward the recording to them for her record.
She had a terrible day at school today.

Surely the last thing you should do is be posting this on her facebook page. The bullying will only get worse.Wins in 2013 - Jan - Heinz No Noise Ketchup.0

by all means send the recording to the school for the staff involved in the bullying at school procedure to hear, but no way should you be considering posting the telephone messages on your daughter's facebook page. Thats asking for trouble, and just playing into the bullies hands.0

Get her a new sim card and phone number and tell her not to give it out to anyone. That way they cannot bully her through the actual phone. Obviously for her safety she needs it. You might like to try the police to see if they have any suggestions on how to keep a record of the call.judygarland wrote: »Hi, not sure if anyone can help, but I need to know how I can make a copy of an answerphone message so that I can store it as a recording on my computer.

i wouldn't post it on facebook tbh. i dont think that will help.
If you wanted to record it though you could just do a video recording on a phone?
edit - I mean play the voicemail on loud speaker and record it with another phone.0 -
Yes, perhaps it is a bad idea to put it on facebook. I'm absolutely fuming. We know who it is but proving it is another thing.
Someone has told me there is an app that you can use to block withheld numbers so Im going to download that.

it's possible to get a witheld number for a fee.

Contact the police. It won't matter if the person responsible has hidden their number because they can't hide their number from the authorities.0

That is fantastic! It's not very expensive either. Thanks for that.0 -
Swap your phone with hers, and when the calls come in answer them and say you don't think it is appropriate to be behaving this way and that you believe their parents would be very disappointed in them.0

Her phone is now in my possession and she will not be allowed to look at it. There was a text message at midnight last night that read ***splatt***. Not quite sure what that means but I have no doubt it's a kind of pie in the face. I'm going to monitor what comes in and then in the new year I will be changing her number. I never really wanted her to have a phone but she was getting bullied for not having one.0
