Syringe Feeding a Guinea Piggy

Back to the vet today. Weight was stable and he felt the pressure in her eyes was better so plan is to keep on keep on!
She is still perky and this morning climbed out of her box whilst i was syringe feeding her. I keep hoping that she will eat but not a nibble so far xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
We lost Misty. She deteriorated overnight. Sad xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Oh, that's so sad

We had to syringe feed our pig once - he had to wear a cone around his head and everything - and it was really difficult.
Well done for trying, I'm sorry about Misty.0 -

so sorry to hear that news. Xx Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
Oh no, I've only just seen this, sorry you lost her

Am always happy to help any pigs around South London ish.
Vets vary a lot too, very few good pig vets around.0 -
So we lost our other pig last night - less than 12 hours after Misty dies. Our other pig had showed no signs of ill health but they were incredibly close. Can a Guinea Pig die of a broken heart?
My heart is sad xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

How sad for you!
Please go out and get some more as they seem great pets!"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170 -
Sad to hear your news. Losing a pet is always so hard. You did the best you could for them and you should take heart from that.0
