    :rotfl: :rotfl: piggy-cam...........I love it.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.
  • That's excellent news , sounds like pig has turned a corner. They're so vulnerable when they're poorly as the weight just falls off them

    Hi x

Still syringe feeding the piggy :( Not sure what is going on with her as she was re-admitted and the abscess had returned despite regular antibiotics and pain relief.

I'm beginning to think she is not going to make it but she is so bright in between feeds and medicine that I dont want to give up on her. I have also decided that if she goes then I will have to give the other piggy up for re-homing as she needs a friend. Im just too attached to these little critters but they are so susceptible to dying - although my last pig lived until 8 years old.

She will be back at the vets tomorrow as she is still not eating and im pretty sure the abscess has returned :(
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

So Piggy back at vets this morning and kept in for x rays. She has an abscess behind her left eye that has been discharging into her mouth - the pressure behind the left eye is different to the right:( We are going to carry on syringe feeding, antibiotics and pain relief as she is still perky in herself. However I dont think it is looking good. Her weight is stable and she is being very tinkerish - scooting around the table and knocking over her feed, just for starters, this morning.

I cant help but keep willing her to pull through as she really is a lovely piggy and has such a wonderful friendship with our other pig. There was lots of cooing and skipping when I put her back in her cage just now x

    Fingers crossed.
