Ah never mind, just been looking at the old website:

This service is currently unavailable. We are in the process of updating the facility to view your mortgage online and we will write to you to advise when the service is available to you.

Hmm, sorry will have to miss this update! :(

    Hi all
Congratulations to everyone who is mortgage free. I haven't been in touch lately but have still been beavering away. Things have changed considerably since I last posted. I now have a 14 wk old daughter so am not going to be able to repay anymore before the end of the challenge. So here's my final posting-
Started in April 07 with 25 years and £86,000.
Statement arrived in Jan 10- 14 years and 2 months left and £60,152 so have reached my target of paying of £6,300 plus more :)
Thanks for all the help and good luck to everyone else

Hopefully we will have halved our mortgage by the end of the challenge which is much more than I expected, especially as we will have managed to fill our cash ISAs too.:T

The chart is fab isn't it, cannot believe how far we have come. When I first started reading the MF board I did not even know I could make overpayments online on my mortgage.

Now it is down to 3 figures and I can call them and get a settlement figure on Wednesday. Thats £45,500 cleared in 3 years very pleased with that and cannot wait for it to happen. Also nice to have 2 ISA's and an appointment to sort out life insurance with an IFA this week.

  • Truly inspiring to see the yellow as Im a year in to my three year plan. Please remember to post your mf success on the roll of honour as its often where newbies "like what I was" begin and is a fantastic tool. So many people are so close to their goals, brilliant stuff. I wonder if the banks see you (us) lot as threat, thats some money they loose out on....
If your not dead & not on the floor, get up and crack on. and stop whinging.
