  • Hi all,

Its been great reading everyone's successes during this challenge, whether it being small over-payments, reaching the MFiT targets or becoming mortgage-free.

We can all take away the fact that without the kick up the backside that this challenge has given us we wouldn't have acheived as much as we have.

On a personal basis we have managed to overpay by another £1500, giving us a current balance of £22320 towards our MFiT target of £20000.

So thanks DD, Tallgirl and everyone else for their comments and suggestions, keep them coming

If you look at the OP of this thread, you'll see that Dithering Dad has the letters PPR under his name. Banned. :(

If you do a search for DD2, DD3, DitheringDad, and DD4 you'll see that they have also been banned. Actually if you lok at the last post for Dithering Dad and DD4 you'll see why they were banned.

DD5 - I can't find your last post under other names - what was so bad to get you banned?

  • I have only just come across this thread (in Dec.2009) and it is an amazing thread with so much inspirational stuff (although I haven't had a chance to read all 230+ pages of it ;)

I have been inspired by it to take action for myself as well.

    Thanks guys

    Hi all,

Just a quick note in this MFiT thread - I've just decided to extend the registration period in the Mortgage Free in Three Take 2 (MFiT-T2) challenge until 31st December.

If you're interested in a follow on 3 year challenge then this is a final call for the MFiT-T2 challenge. This second deadline will NOT be extended.

Please post in the MFiT-T2 thread which is here, PM me or otherwise make your presence known...
    Before 23.59 on 31st December 2009
    Thanks,
    Financial Bliss.

  • I can remember quite well in 2007 when we dropped from 1,000 to 999 days left in this challenge and me thinking (with being new 'n all), should I mention it or not...

Well folks, today we're got just 3 months and 9 days remaining or in pure numbers, a mere 99 days left.

Merry Christmas everyone and here's hoping everyone can have a final push in the last three months of the challenge!
