  • I think the end of this month, 30 June, will be the next update, then 30 September, then monthly to the end was agreed?

  • yippee! just got a cheque through the post from the tax man with a tax rebate! I've updated sig now as another £250 chunk paid off! Worth a pop as my tax code was wrong for the last 2 years so I would prompt anyone out there to cheque to see if they owe you any money :)

Wow, it has been ages since I posted on this thread, or anyone else it seems. I had to go to page 3 to revive it!

Just thought I would update you on my progress so far. Not doing too bad with mortgage, which was just below £42k. However, I am getting married on Saturday and this is likely to send the balance off into the wrong direction for a while. Oh well, can't have it all can I?

We are both looking forward to the big day, which I'm sure will be full of fantastic memories for usso the MFIT challenge is having to take a back seat for a while.

At least having made such an effort to keep my balance down, the cost of the wedding won't be such a problem for us.

Chickadee Good Luck for Saturday - you're getting off to a better start in your married life than many, you're already overpaying your mortgage, which always help if you need to take a payment holiday at any time.;)

Hope the weather stays good for you.:D

    p.s. We've had MFi3 babies before - are you our first bride?

  • Have a fantastic day on Saturday - my wedding was last summer (I say summer in the loosest possible sense of the word, it was July and was the only Saturday when it hardly rained at all) and we had an amazing day without having broken the bank. It's taken a year, but we're much closer to actually getting to live together now, too, going through all the mortgage and legal stuff to sell my place and buy a joint home.

    I'll be thinking of you!
