    Hello all!

I've just updated Tallgirl so thought I'd let you all know we are now down to £10,334. The balance on the one account is still sub £10k but that includes some savings we're not counting towards the MFiT total so we are just about over that . . . but we'll def be under that magic figure by next month.

We're now hoping to pay the lot off by the 2 year mark which will be good . . .

SFG - Fantastic news about the new arrival

And I've never tried Tresseme but it sounds like I've been missing out!!!

I put our tresemme into smaller, easier to manage bottles, cos they're a bit big for DD's hands, especially when they're wet.

    Just what I was thinking!

Just been to see the little darling - for the 3rd time today - makes lovely little faces in his sleep and can already hook his eyebrow up - just like his Dad:j :j

  • Hi All

Wonderful progress by us all so far. I have PM'd Tallgirl with my latest total and wanted to share it here. My Mortgage is still 95K interest only at 4.46% and my 3 year target was to get it down to 25K ( thus paying off 70K ).

Latest update is that we have 65K put aside in Mrs Bonesys high interest ( non tax paying ) accounts, so are only 5K away from 3 year target. :j

As a family we are so geared up to the MSE way of life it is like second nature, and is reassuring given the way the economy is going at the moment.

And finally, the best news of all - there is a new addition to the Bonesy family - a beautiful healthy baby girl :j :j :j

Congrats on the baby Jonesy Bonesy!

How many MFiT babies are there now? Prehaps with all this moneysaving we're finding something else to do in the evenings? ;) :rotfl:

Congratulations to the Bonesy family :) fantastic news

Some really good positive posts, targets being reached ad passed, new babies, new bathrooms. You are all doing brilliantly.

For anyone that has not updated TallGirl yet there is still time, if there is anyone who as not reported for some time we still have your starting figures so please PM TallGirl and you will be included on the new chart.

    Keep it up gang :D

    Hi BRzl,

Sorry, I must've missed your post. As far as your original target is concerned, the MFi3 is your challenge so you can have the values set to whatever you like. Let me know your new target and I'll change the OP

    ...

note: I somehow missed TG's post prior to mine... I think she's right about changing the targets. It doesn't matter what we hoped to do and have either underachieved or overachieved, we've all done really well so far on our challenges and we're only half way through!! :)
The reason I hoped to change it was not because my circumstances have changed since setting it, but because I'd never expressed it as a 3-year target in the first place - only as where I hoped to be by the end of 2008, which makes it an extremely soft target for the 3-year point so I'll end up looking as if I've done really well by 2010 as I might have paid off double by then! However, I'm happy to go with TallGirl's wish as it could make a lot of fiddly extra work for her if several people start putting in similar requests :)

Tallgirl, fab bathroom pics, I'm pleased to see you chose your suite to match in with your shampoo ;) - (which BTW is what I use and very MSE!) and conditioner. You won't be able to change the bottles now even if you change the brand :p !
Now, picking up on Kaz's point about the Tresemme shampoo, which I also use and only buy when it's on special offer, I think we need some sort of quick check. How many MFIT-ers use Tresemme ?
    I do :D :j :j

But my bathroom, being sort of "white with aqua edging", doesn't match my Tresemme bottles - it matches my Liz Earle skincare which is rather less MSE :o :shhh:

Congratulations to Superfastgran and Jonesy Bonesy on the new arrivals!
