    Hi,

If you want to view a really interesting thread pop over to the house buying board...thread's called "I'm buying a £500k house for £600k" - soap opera stuff (not that I'm one to gossip of course!);)

Hello everybody, lots of news here. Congratulation to Trying to be good, lovely news make sure you enjoy it and remeber there are lots of ways of being a MSE and have a fab wedding etc.

Not been around for a few days as I had to leave Sunday night to go to a team meeting. Finished that today and drove 400 miles down to Truro where I am currently holed up in a hotel.

Horrid horrid rain and wind all the way down here and as I dont have my lovely spreadsheet on the laptop you will have to wait a bit longer I am affraid.

Will be back home Thursday so will try to post it Friday. Hope to hear from the last few of you who wants to be updated on the chart.

    Take care all

My sister called and told me she had finished paying her last mortgage payment, I could not believe it, I didn't have the guts to tell her I had just sold my house and rented it back, she bought really early, the old story, £5000 for a four bed victorian house, now worth £500,000, jammy cow.
  • TTBG Congratulations!

I too can't wait to see the spreadsheet this week end and see how much has been paid off.

Sorry for your disgruntled attitude. Think you may have posted in the wrong forum though.

  • Congratulations, Trying to be good!
I'm looking forward to seeing our spreadsheet. The next quarter should be even better, as we've just remortgaged to a shorter term. (Unless I've screwed up the maths and we end up living on rice for the next two years.)
  • I just wanted to say how inspiring all of you are! I have been lurking for a couple of weeks, reading all your success stories.

I am about to get my first mortgage and am finding it a scary process! I would like to be mortgage free as soon as I can, so I'll keep reading your posts to make sure I stay on track.

Good luck to all of you...
