Well done groatie queen! I bet it's a fantastic feeling.
I am feeling grot today as I have a cold and had an aargh moment earlier when I realised that DS has hand, foot and mouth. We are going to a wedding on Saturday and he's a page boy so I hope his blisters don't burst.
I think the kids must have been in contact with someone who has the chicken pox virus because DD has a coldsore too. Hers is clearing up with aciclovir cream but nothing we can do for DS. Poor thing he hasn't eaten well for days and kept saying his mouth was sore.
Ah well, ttfn, Kaz.
How strange looked at where you live as my youngest has just had hand foot and moutn too, its taken him about 5 days for his spots to go down and fortunatley he had none on or in his mouth so hope your lad will be ok on Sat
Ps congrats groatie queen :j :j :jMay 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -
Hi,
Hand, foot & mouth is horrible:o. I'd never even heard of this before I had kids, I always thought it was something to do with cattle:cool:. Those blisters in the mouth are truly horrible. Hope your kids all get better soon.:money:0 -
DD got it in the summer when the foot and mouth outbreak happened. MIL was horrified and convinced that I had brought home some nasty disease from work. I think she thought that we were going to have to shoot DD or something!
I had heard of it but just never seen it and didn't link the symptoms.
When I took her to the doctor I said she's got these weird spots on her hands and feet and he said what about her mouth? I went AAAH! She's got hand foot and mouth!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
This is the final version for October 2007 - 6 months in the next one will be January 2008 which I hope is OK with you all.
Hi TallGirl,
Are we going to update every 3 months from now on??
I think that might have a negative effect as people might loose their focus on mortgage for a while.
I am quite happy to do updates of the chart for all if you don't have time to do it..
But first I would like to hear what other members think about this and we'll take it from there..
Cheers,MFiT Member #72
£126,814 @ 1st April 2007
£113,900 @ 1st Jan 2008 (incl. offset=£9600)
Balance reduced by £12,900 since 1st of April - 11.1% (currently on target to reduce it from £126,814 down to £100,000 by the end of 3 years)
shortened by 4 yrs | Sep/2027 -19.92yrs ---> Oct/2021 - 13.74yrs | Saved £53,0000 -
It was 3 months for the last 2 updates I think - seems about right to me. If you think of it in weeks, it's only 13 weeks and for those without online access to their mortgage balance it's a pain to get a statement of the current outstanding amount.

So glad to see everybody!!! I too have missed everyone. I have a second interview tomorrow for what sounds like its going to be a good opportunity - long story, but I didn't end up going with the contract I originally intended to take.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
