Thanks tallgirl, that was so motivating to see the percentages. Me and Mr. weezl are very chuffed! Hadn't thought of looking at it like that.

DD changed his challenge in month 3 and decided to increase his pension pot to £100000.
It's a good motivator to see the totals changing and I noticed that I have been doing my total percentage rather than my goal percentage. My % shown on the table is much higher and makes me feel a little better about how I'm doing!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

I'm a bit bored as I'm having a "q" night and I just realised that the date is now 21st October. So it's payday tomorrow. I then got a bit muddled and was thinking that the next mortgage payment will be sent tommorrow. So I went and updated my snowball. Really annoyingly I forgot to check the figures first but when I added the payment that will go over on Thursday (not monday!) it has knocked another month off my debt free date. It seems to be far enough under the monthly payment that the interest added will not affect it in as much as it won't add another month on.
So I'm updating my sig. Watch out, I expect I'll have to change it back again in a couple of weeks when it evens out on 2/11/07!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

Huge thanks to Tall Girl and AnWsmum - that new table is briliant - im really doing well in my quest, after we update at the begining of next year, i think i will have to increase my goal, although its going to be lovely if i could get over the 100% in my first year!!!! Will give me the push to keep going (which is why im not going to change it now, dont want to get disheartened with Christmas coming up!!!).0

Wow, thanks TallGirl - I hadn't thought about it, but of course, if I take overpayments as a percentage of my goal, rather than of the total, that looks a lot better - and its more realistic, as I have a repayment strategy in place for the rest of the mortgage. Thanks for that too!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I am glad you like the chart, I think it is hard to read so I will change it a bit later on correct the mistakes I have spotted so far. Hope you all had a nice evening last night - shame that they lost the Rugby.Save £12k in 25 No 49

It is hard to read, I just altered the zoom - only went to 150% and it was fine.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Yes me too. I had in my own mind that I doing poorly because I'm hardly going to be reducing my overall mortgage at all because I've got very little spare income it's really useful to see percentages of goal as you really feel you are making some progress MFi3 member 105 - MFW date Oct 2023 - 12 years 9 months more0 MFi3 member 105 - MFW date Oct 2023 - 12 years 9 months more0

Really pleased that you all like the chart in it's new format TG has put a lot of hard work in since the start of this challenge and keeping it all upto date with your progress is no mean feat. Of course there would be no charts to update without everyone PMing TG.
