Aww thank you I am glad you liked it.
It is a real pleasure to see everyone do so will and I think we should update it every 3 month to keep us on track.
I suggest about 10 days into the following month to allow people to get their statements etc.
That would be
10th October 07
10th January 08
10th April 08 (1 year :j )
What do you guys think?
I agree with DD it would be good to tidy up the list. Perhaps we can do the same on the chart if someone does not update for say 1year.
Just off to pay in the £5k my DH inherrited from his uncle. It will make a big dent in the mortgage and save on interest. I am so proud that DH will put it all on the mortgage and not a new car or a holiday. It is really great to have him onboard.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Aww, thanks DD, but I actually just moved house
I finally made the move from the old grotty 2 bed semi that I was left in when ex did a runner to live with new gf, and now have a lovely 2 bed flat by the seaside
It knocked £60k off the mortgage and made me a happy bunny at the same time! Don't expect to see huge amounts from me from now on though, am a single Mum on a very low wage, but hey ho, I'm happy at last and so is my little 'un
I need just under £10k to hit my target now  and I've got £1600 to pay in soon too but am waiting to see if my old employer / new employer / ta credits all get my money right before I make the overpaymentx

I don't think it can be benbenandme... Looks like I've changed to one too and am nowhere near 500 posts. I think it means I spent too much time on here :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

I've nothing much to get excited about on the mortgage front this month. I overstretched myself with paying for our back garden to be landscaped and paying for our holiday so won't have any spare cash to make overpayments this month
Oh well, at least I'm down to just 10 more posts to go!Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)
