  • Morning Guys!

    Had a better nights sleep:D

Well yesterday just didnt happen! I started feeling quite ill so we didnt make it to M&S and JL for dinner. OH however went out in the morning to get some new summer clothes. He came back with 7 T-shirts, 4 pairs of shorts and a pair of sandals:eek:      ...is he getting old:confused: ...they look nice and are the new thick soled chunky ones. He mainly went to TKMaxx and he saved bundles. The sandals alone had £55 off them. They were mainly designer stuff but he got 3 pairs of shorts from Matalan for £8 a pair which I thought was good. He also bought me a brown linen top and a cerise pink one to go with a skirt I bought a few months back...of course they were reduced;) He also did a bit of food shopping...so he came back spending about £135:o

Had a run in with the MIL last night:D ...she is supposed to be looking after her 2 grandchildren as the mother is away this week and the father is not allowed to be left with the kids(whole other story!). OH had to pop out last night and was back at 6.30. Nephew came up (he;s 6) and started to play upstairs with DD....there like brother and sister. 30 mins later.......banging on front door...OH answered and his mum just went off on one saying "get him down here now"...blah blah blah....she was so rude. So I hobbled out:o and told her not to be so rude..she started moaning again...so I kind of lost it:o ...stated that "he's been down here for 30 bloody minutes-looking after him well arent you!"   ....I couldnt stop myself! She started being really nasty back (as always!)....so I blurted more out:o :o:o "I dont know whats worse...him being at home being knocked around by his dad or you looking after him and not knowing he's disappeared!"...   ...I'm really sorry but couldnt stop the words coming! Why cant people just appreciate what they have...I would love another child, but due to health and circumstances I cant, yet people treat theirs with so little love:confused: ....they just dont deserve to be parents!

Wont continue with that as my blood is boiling. Anyway, today the WM needs to go on, the DW has been emptied and the toilet cleaned. I have some of my essay to do and a few odd jobs to be done...calls and letters etc.

A pair of Wallis crop jeans I bought Sunday arrived this morning and they are lovely. £4 inc postage and they are like new, also a garlic press we needed came too. Free Blockbuster rental voucher and a £10 Boots voucher came from Pigsback:D

OH made some Spicy Parsnip soup last night and was delish. In Asda they had ready prepared veg whcih you just add water and stock cube too. They were reduced to 20p each, so cheaper than doing yourself and he added a value stock cube and some cream we had left. There is one portin on the fridge and there were 3 huge portions and thickened lovely. He also bought a carrot and corriander one reduced to 20p and will do later.

Think thats it...sorry about going on so much. Glad I have friends on here that listen to me:D ;):p

    Twink-Thanks for all the messages Mum...luv ya:D

    Hugs to all.

    morning everyone,

Rotten nights sleep last night. Dreamt all my teeth fell out at once - just as Colin Firth was about to tell me just how much he loved me! :rotfl: Funny and scary at the same time. (I blame Bridget Jones - sat up later than normal watching it last night.)

((((hugs)))) grannybroon So sorry to hear your news.
Old Mcdonald I hope you manage to get some sleep today to catch up. I can't function without sleep so I can sympathise with you.
Racy there has been a notice up at the village pond next to my office asking people not to feed the ducks as too many people are doing it and the ducks are only eating a fraction of the stuff which means the rest is rotting away in the water and causing problems. Could that be the problem where you are?
Pen-Pin I agree with you - there are too many children who aren't given the love and attention they need. I sometimes wonder how many women/girls get pregnant because they want a baby but forget that that baby will grow into a child, adolescent, then adult and they will be responsible for that person until they are an adult. The interest is lost as soon as the baby stops being a baby IYSWIM.

No office w**k today but I do need to go into school to do some PTA stuff. Only three more months to go then I am finished after 10 years' service! :j

Then I need to get my watch battery replaced as it is showing 11.05. Didn't notice til this morning and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the time.

Need to go as I've had nothing to eat yet and need to leave in 15 mins.

    Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx

    Morning all

Back from my holiday, had a very nice, relaxing time. Read books, ate out far too much and got some sun. Must get back on weight loss and OS waggon today!

So today will do meal plans, food shopping and lots of washing. Some ironing and a bit of cleaning if I can muster the energy! Oh and obviously a bit of a catch up on here

How has everyone been? Well I hope. Hugs and good wishes to anyone that needs them. x

    Morning everyone

Happy birthday Master Emmy! And ((hugs)) to all those who need them this morning.

Bit of a rush today as DS1 has school - he has to be there for 1230 and it's a 20 minute walk so they have to have their lunch early. Got to try to get to Lidl this morning after DS2's nap too, and Ds1 has asked whether we can do some cooking - hopefully make some little cheese pies which they can have for their dinner when we get home. Going to vacuum upstairs while DS2 is asleep and hopefully sort out the cupboards. Sold a book to a nice lady on Ebay so I need to get that packed up and sent too.

Day 2 of the diet today  I've made myself a star chart (same as Ds1 had for potty training) for doing sit-ups before bed every night - is actually really helping to motivate me!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi

Taking the car to get sorted later - the boot is stuck shut and bongs if you go below 25mph and move again, for two minutes. It's OK if you stay above 25mph once it stops - we have only had it two weeks, good job it did it on the last day of our holiday but had to get them to open the boot for us as our cases were stuck in there!

Looking at the outside of some houses north of the Forth.

Taking son and his g/f for a meal after

    Then food shopping.

Shall enjoy the peace having the place to myself today tho':) Shall enjoy the bubble bath later:)

No risk of [STRIKE]pig[/STRIKE] husband shouting at me! He was a right one on Sunday and has changed everything, the break away was fab and we got on really well:confused:

It is 43 days till completion - in one way glad, another is scary, haven't got a place to move to:eek:
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
