Morning everyone.
Sending lots of love and hugs to Grannybroon (((())))), my thought are with you.
Hope everyone else is ok too?
Didnt get chance to get on yesterday, But i still didnt get everything done i wanted too. Managed to food shop, pay a few bills and tidy downstairs.
Todays jobs are blitz the upstairs, try and clear the wash baskets, iron and make something yummy for tea.
Ds2 is off to Malta 2 weeks today with my FIL +MIL, so need to start getting his stuff together, i got given a huge bag of shorts from a lady at school yesterday, they are like new and fit him perfectly, so i wont need to buy any swimming shorts or normal shorts!
My FIL gave me a list of what he needs, and it isnt alot for 2 weeks but my Fil doesnt mind washing whilst on hoilday ( he must be mad 6 t-shirts for a 9yr old for 2 weeks??) but if thats how he wants to do it LOL, Less for me to buy.
They have booked to take ds2 swimming with dolpins whilst they are there, so need to find out if anywhere sell a cheap disposable underwater camera??
Anyway off for another coffee, have a good day everyone.

What on earth do they do that for
What is life coming to if you can't have simple pleasures like going to the park to feed the ducks? How are kids meant to learn to appreciate nature and the environment if one of the earliest things most of us do is denied them?
Do they allow people to feed the squirrels and birds?
Oooh! I feel a bit of campaigning coming on....
I'll get my placard
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Morning All! Well, its the first day back on the school run for me today, and its blkinging pouring down! Typical! Ive gone and done a proper meal plan this wek, so hopefully, when I go to asda this morning, it shouldnt cost as much as it has been (seriously... its been getting out of hand)
And then Ive got to go to work... Which, if you've had a gander at my thread on 'discussion time', you'll know Im utterly petrified of today, and even though it half 7 in the morning, Im feeling sick about it already...
Anyhoo! (((Hugs))) To everyone who needs them! Have a great day!

monring all and special hugs to grannybroon ((hugs))
Well. Im a bit worried about our beloved jack russell jazmine who is just scratching herself raw. Shes been off her food for a few days but i thought that was cos we were spoiling her by buying reduced liver and frying it off and giveing her the rest of our rubbver chicken etc. However her breathing has got panty, and im seeing that she might have mites or scabies or something. Its all new to me, Ive onylhad " a pet" since Xmas, shes been living with OH paretns for the last 18 months as we werent allowed pets in the flat.
So day off for OH today, he stayed up late playing with his records.
So in a bit he is going to take her to the vets while I have fingers crossed about how much its going to cost
anyone any ideas/ know??
I have got to go to my 2nd job to talk over some paperwork changes its a freelance job, and I was going ot start it before I did estate agency ,then with the hours I was putting in there, just couldnt squeeze it in. NOw tho, Ill be starting again in earnest- If i only do one project a week, It loks about being about 150 a month- and I can do them while OH is at work on saturdays.
Apart from that, OH has said that he thinks we should book the arfica thing asap as he read on another forum that if we book nowish we can get flights for about 400- otherwise they shoot up after the end of may to about 900 each  So im going to ask on travel board to see if anyone can hlep us get the best deal
Food today looks like
Breakfast cereal/ crumpets
LUnch- i made some red onion marmalade last night, so i might have a bit of that with some cheese in a toasted sandwich mmmm
dinner- im going to juggle around and do the fish pie with scalloped potato lid.
Might squeeze in making some spinach & cheese pasties later, im sure ill have time.
Have a good day everyone! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Morning all
Hugs to Grannybroon & Viks.
I'll be thinking of you!
I'm going through one of those "every two hours" things at the moment .. and our loo is two flights of stairs down from our bedroom.
I should weigh eight stone really, what with all the exercise I get trundling around in the middle of the night!
Well, I can report that AussieLass's "Impossible Quiche" went down a storm at la casa PoshPaws last night.
It has been declared a winner and the recipe included on the "again! again!" list. Hurrah!! Something new to add to the menu planner!! :T My family thanks you, AussieLass.
Today I shall mostly be shopping at Asda, after which I need to clean out the parakeets and lassoo one of them (Lemony Snickett) because she's got a wound on her neck that she keeps opening up by scratching at it. I shall have to dress the wound and trim her claws. That's going to be interesting!! After that, I shall need to vacuum the kitchen floor because no doubt it will be covered in feathers and sunflower seeds. Other than that, I shan't be including much more on my "to do" list because it will probably take all the rest of the day to catch the birdie in the first place!
Have a great day, everyone. Hugs to those who need one!

Just a flying visit to send HUGS to Grannybroon, and to donny-gall for your poorly leg - and hugs to all in need.
Day 2 of the training today - yesterday's big surprise was a lovely lunch, baked potatoes and loads of salads followed by fruit salad - very healthy and much better than the usual deep fried dross served at some health-related training days!
Have a good day and take care everyone

Good Morning to all. (((hugs))) to GRANNYBROON - been thinking about you.:A :A
Thanks to all for comments re the breadmaker I should have bought yesterday for £7.00 and hope will still be there when I race in at 9 o'clock this morning.
BEEMUZED - pleased to meet you (from yesterday's thread!) and hope you are feeling less lousy today!:A :A
RACY - your coots and all the other wildlife around you sound fascinating. I quite agree with you about Flittersnoop's post - what is life if you can't feed the ducks - especially for children. Part of growing up, isn't it?:j :j
DONNY-GAL - good luck when you see the surgeon later!:A :A
STRESSED - good luck at the hospital for your DH - I'm sure they won't cut his hand off - they'll know you need him for the washing up!
Well - had a reasonable night's sleep last night - for a change! Woke up only twice and managed to doze off again pretty quickly and no bad dreams! Woke up eventually at about 5.15 so had time for a couple of cuppas and my shower and make DH's packed lunch and slice a pineapple for pudding before he woke up. Going to have the rest of Queenie's meatloaf for dinner with salad, new potatoes and HM coleslaw, folllowed by the afore-mentioned pineapple. Then need to make Groatie's fruit cake - fruit mixture has been soaking all night as per instructions and I even added the rest of last night's stewed rhubarb to it to I'm sure it'll taste interesting! My lunch will be Marmite sandwiches which I made at the same time as making DH's sandwiches. I've been fancying Marmite for the last couple of days - NO, I'm not pregnant!
Raining here as well:mad:  I know the gardens need it but it's surprising how you get used to regular sunny days. It's also a bit on the cool side.
Have some more paperwork - got to go through my claiming-unfair-bank-charges file because the bank's solicitor says they haven't got enough details of the charges we're claiming!  Makes me cross because they only have to ask the bank but this is LloydsTSB we're talking about and they seem to take a sadistic delight in pushing you to the edge!  Will NOT give up!
My sister will hear today whether or not she is diabetic. Sounds awful but I hope they tell her she is and that it can be controlled by diet. This has worried me for years - she doesn't eat properly and will go all day without food - just lives on coffee - and then eats something late at night. So, with any luck, today will be a fresh start for her and she'll start to look after herself properly.
:grouphug: :grouphug: :coffee: :grouphug: :grouphug:
Anyway, hope you all have a really good day. (((hugs))) and kind thoughts to all who have posted and will post!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
