+++Sky Deals For New Customers+++
Alot of talk for existing customers you lucky gets! Heres a little something for new customers. Through my various discussions with the people at Sky.
They can only apply one discount per item. So for example, they can discount you tv for 12 months, or they can discount your line rental for 12 months. It wont alow them to do both though.
So you can ring up and they can give you the entire sky world package with HD, 3D for £32.50 per month. (then you add the cost of your line rental and BB)
Or you can get the line rental half priced, however, this can only happen if you take HD package out with them.
You can also get the tv with entertainment extra for 12 months discounted and they may even apply a credit varying between £20-£40 depending on the agent you talk to.
There are no deals on just the phone and BB.
The sky fibre broadband has 3 months half price offer anyway on the website so if you consider taking this out with the sky tv package make sure you mention that they apply the 3 months half price or else they wont do it.
But if you are new, make sure you get one or the other discounted!!!!!
If they say no, just hang up and try again!
For the love of all people do NOT go about saying you read this on MSE or whatnot cos that is just stupid and that is what kills the deals.

They can only offer 6 months discounted on whatever. The people on the phones can offer you alot more. THis should be basic knowledge anyway and apply's to all companies.

Are they really able to office Sky World for £32.00. I would like to sign up to this (new customer) and wondered if it is worth keep ringing until I find somebody who will offer it.
I have phoned twice and they would not discount this. The best they offered was Entertainment Plus with Movies at half price for six months so (6 at £21.25 and then 6 at £42.50)
Thanks for the info0 -
im not sure if the offer is still live or not.
keep ringing and try diffrent times of the day,
when you get through, just say that your mate just told you theyve been signed up for sky bb, phone and also the advisor gave him/her the full sky world package with hd, 3d for 32.50 for 12 months and that you will sign up aswell if they can give you this.
if hey ask whos ur mate just say in the interest of security you dont want to give out their name but can ask permission and call back if they like, altho the advisor will not ask this anyway.
stick your ground and ask them to speak to heir manager to see if their mnager can do this.
like i say, keep trying. but try at different times of the day.0 -
ill ring them now and see if they are still doing it0
-
yea theyre still offering this! pretty simply done....0

Only problem is that I only need the tv and not telephone and broadband so maybe that is why they not so interested. Thank you for your help. I will try again tomorrow0

that sounds great as looking to move from whole package with bt( telly, phone and bb) and have been looking into sky for a week or so now. Why pay the same price for just entertainment when you could get all this.
Did you say anything else? I will try on Monday and see where I go from there.
Thanks**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -

aaaah thats why! yea they wont give it to you like that to be honest.
im not sure you can have sky without the phone line though?
if you can, they might give you entertainment extra (basic + that)
and might give you like 6 months or so and some credit, maybe. but not the full 12 months im afraid.0 -

Where did you get that from? Do you think no-one has Sky TV and other services from BT or others?0 -

I can sort of verify this with my battle for a brand new package for my mother this evening. Obviously as a current customer introducing a friend we were entitled to £150 of vouchers betwwen us anyway if applying online. Broadband unlimited is also currently free for 6 months saving £45.
So the adviser had to beat savings of £195 over a year on what I required.
After about 6 different offers !! which in some cases did cover multiple small savings on different items as opposed to what the op stated, I was ready to give in.
Finally however I got a "last day we only have a couple of codes left staff discount code" Dont you love the flannel.
So I did get the complete sky world tv (sports & movies) at 50% for 12 months. HD at 50% for 12 months. BB unlimited at 50% for 12 months (not a saving as already on offer at free for 6 months).
Also added a multiroom at £10.50 (no discount)
Also added their £19.50 (No discount) unlimited calls with line rental charge. I do like the ability to call internationally for free. Charge for BT to install line waived (Virgin at moment).
So saving on package £400 over the year..0
