I went to get the aircon topped up, and after 20 mins they said no point as there was another problem, but, didn't know exactly what. They advised they could not hear the compressor coming on, so said a refil would be a waste of time. No charge.

Had what I thought was a slow puncture, they checked the tyre, no issues, replaced the valve as there was a slight leak there. No charge.

Many years ago used them for an oil change, was cheaper than I could buy the oil.

Bought tyres a few months back, all done online, and they were the cheapest.

So in my experience they have been good.

    I've always been pleased.

But this time they charged me more than they quoted me. I can understand extras being extra, but I expect the basic price at the rates they quoted.
  • my brother-in-law saw them drill a screw into there rear tyre , they were meant to be leaving the van, so had a coffee just across the road and unbeknown to the fitter they watched it in disbelief and when they returned, low and behold a puncture in rear tye, they weren"t bothered though as its a company vehicle and dont like there company, but if they did s..t and fan would be understatement :0)
  • I've just today received a cheque in the post from Kwik Fit for £20. The refund of the fuel additive they claimed I needed for my car to pass the MOT emissions test. Which was a total scam.

I've never seen an MOT advertised for less than £30 either. VOSA take a large slice of the MOT fee so they have to make that back from somewhere.

For info. I asked about this and was told that VOSA take a £2.05 "slot fee" to fund the scheme.
    Forgotten but not gone.

Why did they let him do that to their van?

Erm, because they were over the road and couldn't stop them? - you quoted it yourself!
