30p for 100g dark chocolate in Aldi. Yum! 29p spaghetti also from Aldi.
B&M do a big bag of pasta shapes for 2 for £1. I think they are 1kg and have loads of tiny wee shapes. They tase good and literally every time, we have fun finding new shapes that we haven't spotted before, Peppa Pig, Thoams the tank engine, Hello Kitty, lots of wee trains, bunnies, crowns etc etc. Fab!
They also do the packs of Blue Dragon stir fry sauces for 19p. And boxes of Carr's water table biscuits for 15p!!
Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

  • ASDA Smart Price sauce, @ 29p for a 540g glass bottle.

ASDA sauce, in a plastic bottle, is 68p for only 480g

I buy a lot of the basics from the value ranges.

Herbs, stock, vinegar, salt, tinned tomatoes, passata, beans, mushy peas, washing powder, frozen peas, frozen sweet corn, lemonade, coffee (I prefer it but only drink twinings tea), tomato sauce, mint sauce, cranberry sauce, pasta, spaghetti and so much more.

I always buy nicky toilet roll :)

Thats it for now k

One lemon goes a long way as its flavour is so strong. One sells for about 29p at Lidl.

A little can be used at a time for flavouring fish, black tea and even a hot drink with sugar.
I slice and freeze lemons in a ziplock bag. :)

I must look after the pennies again and you've inspired me.

Someone recommended Aldi garlic bread, about 39p, very nice
