As per the post earlier I found them in my local above the freezers (though I didn't find them right away), they were along with about 4 or so other packet sauces, sausage casserole, shepherds pie & bolognese or such like.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

You cant really rely on them consistently stocking a product, as I suppose pound shops just buy in whatever is cheap at the time. Certainly many of the smaller stores work on a "Here today gone tomorrow" basis, but its worth the few seconds to have a look around now and again.
The store near to us recently sold a range of pickles, Onions, Beet, Jalapino peppers, Chutney etc. So at "BOGOF" prices - 2 for £1 (50p each) the Jalopeno peppers are a third of the price I pay in Morris*** and the jar is nearly 3 times larger. (1/2 kilo) . We bought some to taste test then returned a couple of days later to stock up as they had a June 2015 best before date.
So yep it is certainly worth poking around the foody areas in Pound shops.0 -
Our local poundland also does mince, cooked chicken, ham trim etc. Sometimes the ham trim is marked down to 50p, so tempting to try.On the up

Not tried the chilli mix, let us know how you get on.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
One lemon goes a long way as its flavour is so strong. One sells for about 29p at Lidl.
A little can be used at a time for flavouring fish, black tea and even a hot drink with sugar.0
