Thanks for that. I visit a few different Aldi stores so hopefully will find it. They do sometimes place items where you'd least expect them!
I've always made my own cheese sauce but am beginning to doubt whether it is really worth the outlay in ingredients and labour, going to try a few sauce mixes with fresh veg etc added :)

it's really not worth it, trust me, I've been using the Aldi one for a couple of months, I add a bit of cheddar or parmesan and a bit of dijon mustard now the family say it's tastier than the one i used to slog over that cost a lot more!

I have one armpit that is over active (yes, really!) and on days I'm working I use sure maximum protect

I use a normal one on other days unless I'm going to be doing something particularly active and I've used the lidl roll on in the past they have about 3 different smells and one is really nice

It's not under 50p. However last time I bought it it was 59p

  • Morrisons savers custard at 7p is really nice as is the lemon curd at 22p. The packs of 12 saver rolls at 32p are great for the kids lunch boxes.

Bramwells cheese sauce powder (Aldi's) 33p, its lovely and is enough for 4-5 portions.

Just wanted to say a big thanks for this one, last week I bought 2 packets and they were only 25p, used one today, it was lovely, in fact it may actually be nicer than the Colemans I've been using which is 2 for £1 (or more when not on offer).

There's quite a lot of threads about Nicky loo roll, I've been using it for years now (having first heard of it here) as it is such a bargain, anyway in one of the other threads today someone mentioned it was on offer @ £2.99 in cost cutter (don't have that here). https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4413285

I read they sell it in Wilkinsons but they don't in my local, I buy it from Farm Foods.

The value stuff I rate (and probably would never buy the more expensive versions of): lemon curd, jam, sandwich pickle, tesco value sugar free lemonade (realised lately this is a cheaper soft drink for us than value squash is!), ketchup (tesco is ours), stock cubes (why pay more?), toothpaste (check the fluoride levels, that's the important bit! Though sometimes I have bouts of sensitivity so switch to a good sensitive with argenine in)... The usual ingredient stuff too like pasta/rice/chopped toms/beans etc are all value generally for us.

The only time this isn't the case is when my mum has received love2shop vouchers from work, which she's kindly given to me - then it's off to iceland!

Also Iceland loo roll, 99p x4 - so less than 25p each and it's much more luxurious than velvet/andrex etc!
    On the up :D
