Morning all
Don't know where to start today, ex-husband phoned and wanted the kids for a few hours which has thrown me. I have cooking, cleaning, ebaying and researching to do and don't know where to start! Have done a work out and had a bath though so at least I'm a bit fitter and cleaner :rotfl:
Think I'll make a list, love lists
Thanks for loo roll voucher tip tooMum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

In the frugal quest today I made flapjacks to put into packed lunches instead of bought goodies. Made meatballs - I only made 39 and thought there would be more (I know I could have made them smaller) I'm not 100% sure it was worth all of the effort though.0

my biggest frugal step has been to keep a pair of scissors handy in bedroom drawer to cut things like cleansing wipes in half tops of tubes of cream for example everything is lasting longer
you all may do this already but i cant believe the difference it has made. You can if you think you can .0 -
Good morning everyone!
It's snowing here - just a light dusting at the moment so will have to have the heating on all day:(:(.
Not too good at technology so don't know how to do signature or links (soz). LOLA LEMON currently has some pretty amazing lip print leggings in the SALE only L size left but only £2.00! (Daughter's Birthday pressie sorted!)
Another NSD weekend and the snow will put paid to me going out today - planning to make some crafty bits - cushions, throws and bedding for my friend's stall at upcoming craft fair. Still have loads of 'vintage' unused fabrics from Liberty and Laura Ashley from 30 years ago (when I was into patchwork!) to use up.
Have taken a leaf out of other peeps on here and drawn up a Menu Plan for the week based upon what I have in the freezer and cupboards - 'sort of lentil moussaka' today with sweet potato chips and roasted vegetables. As I have three butternut squashes lounging in the bottom of the freezer, I will make roasted butternut soup for lunch today, tomorrow, the next day...........!
Have a great money saving day everyone! x0 -

Trying to remain positive about not spending as much. Its a bit tricky with the demands of my lot. But I managed to only spend £20 on the gas for DS/Twin2 last week, so thats a relief.
My order for a Sale priced jumper for my BF's birthday has been cancelled on me! So got to go into town to buy something. Which is fatal, cos then I get tempted to spend.
I had to take DGD to a Birthday party on Saturday, but I made the birthday present, so that didnt actually cost me anything, as the fabrics I have had for ages and ages.
One of the Mums bought my cup of tea for me, so that meant I managed a No spend day. Yipee.
Yesterday was also a No spend day, but today alas I have spent £8.25 as I have ordered some special Needles etc for my sewing, on line.
I was not planning on driving to town at the time.
Twin2 is going to see if she can find me a jumper for BF when she is in town today, so that I dont go in. She just rang as I was starting to write this. If she can that means I dont have to do a dash in the morning. Its his birthday tomorrow. So I have run out of time.
Food wise, I also cancelled my delivery from the Organics tomorrow, as we are bursting from the seams, well the fridge for vegetables, and fruits.
As the weather is so yuk, I will not be going to the supermarket for anything. Decided that I will use up the store cupboards. Mind you you will laugh, I put the stock on to heat up to make soup. Got side tracked and just caught the pan before it was boiled dry!!!!
Least I didnt burn the pan!. Just no chicken stock left. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Great idea.. I recently started cutting tubes (mainly cos I couldn't afford a new foundation) but hadn't thought about wipes. I'm def gonna do that from now on!
Not much to report here.. just plodding on till the weekend when it's PAY DAY:D That's not a cue to spend, spend, spend just I need to do the online monthly shop order and pay bills etc. I'm putting money into the savings but the biggest thing for me is I'll have made my target of an extra £76 to pay everything up to date after Christmas/new year. Yaaaay:j:j
My priorities now are to keep spending at a minimum, keep to my frugal fripperies budget and start planning the veg garden I'm going to start this year.
I love reading how you're all getting on xx0 -
Oh yes, have added £4.99 for a second bra bought... necessary really, I've lost so much weight I needed them so can't complain!0
