Maybe not stupid but too trusting or naive.

Sometimes I feel we have a choice between being naive and cynical. Which is worse?

The one which doesn't result in you handing over your card details to anyone that rings up.

Has anyone got John Andew's number? I'm running a bit short this week and I thought if I rang him and pretended I'm a space alien about to save the world from the Mayan apocalypse, but before I can inject my sentient nanobots into the Earth's crust I need £7000 to park my interstellar craft in the council car park (it's a big craft), then he might be able to help.

There were so many signs here that the call wasn't genuine. The gullibility of the victim here probably explains many of the stories reported by the Daily Mail.

What got me straight away was her name Jane Seymore straight away I thought of the 3rd wife of King Henry VIII but then I'm a geek.

Can't believe someone fell for this

    The former, without a doubt.

You see the management like to match the intellectual capabilities of the journalists to that of the readers. :D

    Stone me.

Not only the readership of a paper - that you no doubt disagree with - are idiots but the staff of the paper too!

    Or is there another answer.............

Of course the Daily Mail is staffed by idiots. That's why nobody ever reads it or bothers posting threads on internet forums linking to any of its stories.

Oh, hang on a minute .....

quite right, never (so far, and touch wood) made such a costly mistake as giving all my money to a complete stranger without a compelling reason.
