    Morning All

I didn't get a lot done last night although I did have a bit of a sort out in the DR. I need to hoover round tonight and have a tidy up. I'm hoping to nip into town tonight to get a few bits including cards depends whether my mate minds having the kids for a bit longer after school otherwise they'll have to come with me. Mum's not very well so the kids aren't going over there tonight so I'm not going to have my hour and a half's peace like I normally have on a Tuesday night!

    Congratulations to GI's DH!

Jaybee - hugs - we'll let you off.

    Penpen - Happy Retirement!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Good morning, all

Congratulations to GI's DH! Hope my DH gets lucky soon...

Welcome to retirement, PenPen - you won't have time to be bored!

CY, hope your DD2 is better today.

Good to have you back, jaybee - be easy on yourself.

SB, I hope you're doing what you're told and resting.

I was out for 6 hours yesterday when the original plan was for just 1 or 2, so I was shattered by tea time. Last night I decided that I was too tired to start wrapping, so I have put all the Christmas presents into some of my large stacking boxes in the study: unless they're opened the presents will remain hidden to prying eyes ;) until I have time to wrap them later in the week.

I woke up at 5.15 and have already tidied round and made lunch for the DGSs to eat on the train journey here from London. I've even found some pencils, crayons and little notebooks and an I-Spy book to keep them amused. We are going to our local museum this afternoon to see the wonderful dinosaur and "Nature In Your Back Garden" galleries, recently refurbished and well worth a visit. :)

DD is coming this evening, and DH is going out to a meal with his fellow-wargamers, so we shall have a nice quiet evening in. Time to crack open the Baileys, maybe!

    If it's gone, it's done :D
