    You should have taken it to currys/pcw FIRST, having someone else take it a part means you can't claim under the SOGA now. If you want pcw to fix it your going to have to pay, and probably more than the other price.
  • it wasnt a Toshiba satellite p850-138 was it I have had exact same thing happen after 16 months....so 12 months warranty up????

    no power on laptop. tested charger ok....

    my look up the this sale of goods act
