  • RFTA - does your hospital allow you to claim for travel costs? My local one let my mum claim for travel when she was receiving treatment and it really helped.

Hi everyone, back after a lovely holiday. Saw the Northern Lights 3 times and it was magical! Shame I can't afford a camera with all the bells and whistles on to capture them, but at least I have the memories and a sore head from too many late nights drinking in Reykjavik!

I've got £20 in my purse to last me until Friday. Hopefully this will last me, as I have got all my Christmas presents now.

Unfortunately not ... I have asked in the past and it was a flat "no" but I'd encourage everyone to ask if you're getting regular treatment - you've nothing to lose!:)

They phoned just before & I've now got a cancellation on Thursday - great as at least I'll get it done before Christmas but was supposed to be going to a thing at work so will have to cancel that tomorrow:(

    Evening everyone.

  • Had a bit of good luck today, was buying stamps, from joint acc. Needed 30, but they only had books of 12 so got 36. Anyway got back in the car and there was one book inside the other, so got a free book of 12 first class stamps. I did think about going back in to tell them. But not ashamed to say I didn't and kept them. So saved £7.20. But will prob be using Xmas stamps for the next 6 months!!!! :D

Spends of £25.60p today. Had the fish and chip van at work, subsidised by work. That was 50p then £25.10 on petrol, should have been £25. Ooops. Bl00dy pump.
