Great deals on Heal's website

  • They have no stock but are happy to take people's money. They shouldn't take payment until the goods are ready to be shipped.

I'll not hold out much hope of getting mine then. Although I haven't had an email yet.

I got a dispatch but ordered on first day of op
  • I ordered on first day too, it was the hotel chocolat, charbonnel truffles and jelly belly beans that were cancelled
I am afraid my order confirmation said 'released for dispatch'
    :(
  • I'm really annoyed with Heal's - I ordered from the sale on Sunday morning early, after it was mentioned in one of the weekend papers. I ordered £43 worth of stuff and paid extra for priority delivery "within 1-2 working days" as I needed the items for Friday. As I still had no dispatch confirmation email today I called them, only to be told that 4 items I'd ordered are out of stock and the other items haven't been made ready for dispatch yet. Apparently the text "priority delivery 1-2 days" refers to how long the parcel will take to arrive after it has been picked in the warehouse. Warehouse picking can take up to 4 days before that timescale even kicks in! I think this is really misleading, and said so. Apparently the rest of my order will "almost definitely" be with me by Friday, but I'm not holding my breath. Thought Heal's were a fairly high-end shop, but their customer service is pants!

I ordered one item and had confirmation email but no dispatch or cancellation notification. The full amount has been debited from Paypal (and not refunded). However, when I log in to the Heals website there is nothing at all in the order history.

I have called customer services - not surprisingly the line is busy so I have left my details for them to call me back!

:) 4 items have been despatched & the other 2 are in progress on my order :)

If all else fails - read the instructions...

  • There's going to be a lot of angry customers. Me included. I've heard nothing either. I don't think no news is good news either. :(
  • I ordered 2 moleskine notebooks as a guest (didn't register for an account) and received a confirmation email.

Heard nothing since then, so phoned them and managed to get through on the second attempt. Apparently they are unable to fulfil my order due to demand, so I have requested a refund.

Don't think I will bother ordering from that site again.

    What a silly fiasco!

I redialled customer services and didn't select option 2 this time but just held for 'other enquires'. The call was actually answered and I was told the same as everyone else here that the item is out of stock. Whilst I was on the phone the person confirmed the cancellation by email and issued the PayPal refund. Otherwise this would apparently have taken several days due to the 'backlog'!

Heals have absolutely plummeted in my estimation after this.

I have just sent an email to customer services saying how shocked I am at such a poor level of customer service and that I will not be buying the furniture from them for my new house extension that I was planning to do in the new year.
