  • What recycling sites did you use? I have a load of books back home that I should just bin rather than dump in a charity shop but I'm loathed to throw them out into the main bin! How much did you get for each book and how much was postage etc.? :)

Got an ebay auction ending in 6 hours, currently it's £9.95 but I'm hoping it might go up a bit more as I've had two bids and got 8 watchers :T

    Hi kss_me_now9 :)

I brought up three sites and put every barcode in to each to see which one offered the most. Some books were 30p on one site and over £1 on another! I found webuybooks.co.uk to be the best and that's where I claimed the most. I actually had a couple of xbox games at Music Magpie in last's night's load so was £39 on books and £23 on games. I also have some books in my basket on zapper.co.uk as they would offer on some that other site didn't take but my basket needs to be worth £15 before I can cash them out so will have to add a few more. I also have a little pile that weren't taken by those sites so going to try some others.

The postage is paid! When you checkout your list of selling, they send you a freepost label to pop on your parcel and send to them :T

I know I said I'd EARN £2013, but I'm thinking of putting the money I usually spend on cigarettes in the pot to save as well, because I'm giving up. Is this ok for the challenge?

  • £60 earned by doing shifts today and yesterday - my job is usually 9-5 but when shift work is available I jump at it. It's more interesting and it earns me £30 a pop!
