Can I join too please? I'm hoping to earn £2013. I'm a full time student so will be anything I get on top of my loan.

Just won £10 on a scratch card (new years day tradition we all get a scratch card!) so that will go in the pot!

I'm a student too & I find these challenges really helpful. It's great having the motivation from everyone else too. Good luck! :D

I'll be using these to count as earnings - I'm getting married & we're getting our first house, so I'll be using Amazon vouchers to save up for electricals & that sort of thing. Will take the pressure off when it comes to moving in!

    Happy new year everyone.

    That's an impressive goal, kobrakai!

I got accepted to Textbroker a couple of days ago - there are no three star articles available at the moment, but I'll be checking in every morning and evening. I'm hopeful that a good portion of my extra income will come from there because I hate doing surveys.

  • I know it is only day two of the challenge, but this is really motivating me to find new ways to make some extra cash.. I'm quite optimistic about making it to £2013 by the end of the year and am trying to convince my other half he should get involved as well... It would be great if we could double that figure in extra income to play with..

Bess1234 what were the basics you did last year to get the money?

I'm decluttering and managed to get a few bits on ebay for free listing, mainly maternity clothes that hadn't sold on my local buy sell page on fb, got some of daughters shoes to sell too clarks doodles etc, will continue to declutter. Got some baby clothes new with tags, my son was born August and people bought larger summer clothes which aren't suitable for this time of year so never been worn, think I'll wait til Spring to sell those though.
Would get a few pounds for old mobiles but my daughter likes playing with them think she would notice they'd gone.
Plan to count up all our coin jars and bank them as a starter and we'll continue to save over the year again.
I'm on maternity leave at the moment so enjoy having a little challenge to keep me going! Good luck everyone! What's everyone else done so far?
