    Hi Lurvlyloz

So sorry for not getting back to you. Everything takes a lot of effort at the moment lol.

We are all fine thanks. I've got a booked C-section for Friday 2nd August so only a week to go. Now I'm just worried we won't have everything ready. I need to clean the buggy and bouncy chair and hopefully get the house reasonably tidy for DH to keep that way.

I'm planning on doing a huge food shop today as it's DH's pay day. I've done a meal plan for the next 10 days or so and we've also got a lot of sausage casserole in the freezer too.

We're currently saving to have the hall, landing, stairs and living rooms decorated professionally. This month we have saved £250 which is on track for when we want it done in October. We also need to save up for a whole new bathroom so that's the next project. Still paying off the minimum of the credit cards until we've done these projects then we can pay it off next year.

  • So sorry I haven't updated my diary since my little girl arrived. Everything went ok & am now nicely recovered. Spends have gone a bit silly so need to get back on track. Here are my goals for the new year

    * Save £130 for christening in february
    * Save £2000 in ISA for house improvements/move
    * Pay off £1100 left on CC hopefully by May.
    * Save for holiday in April
    * Save for yearly zoo pass £104 as DS will start school soon so would like to take advantage

Think thats enough for now. Will update sig later

Ok so last year was a complete disaster debt wise. It's now at nearly £7K and I really don't want it to go any higher. I must start on the NSDs again as I think that's where most of our money goes, impromptu spends :(

I'll be back on later to set some goals and set up a new budget. I also need to cancel some direct debits and do some comparison websites for insurances and mobile phones

On the good side, our little girl is gorgeous and both the kids get on really well. DS is doing us all so proud in reception and I'm enjoying the last few years of having little ones at home
