Thank LW and Monnagran, it turns out that is a nasty respiritory infection and he has been put on strong antibiotics and steroids. The doctor said that he wants him to go for a spirometry test in the New Year because he thinks that he may have COPD which I already have. I swear that it is because of where we live, traffic pollution is terrible around here.
So I was right to push it with the receptionist.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Good afternoon everyone,
Remembering Diva too x :A
The weather here today is awful. Very windy and throwing it down. I keep thinking somebody is at the door but it is where the wreath keeps moving about.
Presents to wrap today and then i am finished completely. I haven't got much food yet but am really not going over the top anyway. Hubby invited my Mum and Dad over for Christmas dinner yesterday. Their oven is not working properly and they were supposed to be having one delivered and fitted yesterday. They refused to fit it because it had to be hardwired in. The fitters knew that before hand. My Mum was in tears here yesterday because they will be hard pushed to get one put in before Christmas now.
Tea tonight is sausage, egg, beans, mushrooms, waffles and tomatoes. We were going to have that yesterday but had diced beef with vegetables.
I hope everyone has a good rest of the day and hugs to those who need them.

Well that's my two days at work done for the week, now I can get back to home life.
Unfortunately had two bit of bad news today.
My friends step father is in hospital after a heart attack, and I also heard from one of my mums old friends - her husband died a few weeks ago.
it's all very sad, so near Christmas, I hope my friends stepfather will be out of hospital soon.Early retired - 18th December 2014

I broke my wrist a number of years ago and it ached for a couple of years, esp in cold/damp weather (actually I seem to remember it happening recently and sleeping with a leg warmer on it!) so I used to put a simple sports support on it to keep it warm and nurtured... Can you use a tubigrip, leg warmer or fluffy sock with the toes cut off to keep your arm warm and snug?

Remembering Diva.
Hugs to Molly, LW, enjoy Jessica.
All the food I took in went well, we put on a fantastic spread, all home made or home cooked.
It was a long day today after a late finish yesterday so I relieved it's Friday.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs Hester
