Stevenage town centre had 16 in stock. I picked up two & someone else was taking one just over an hour ago.

That's why the stores are out of stock.

I don't have a problem with buying however many for your own use. I have 3 kids and although they aren't all getting one of these each they all have a dsi each so no difference in my opinion. At this price, had I not already got their Christmas presents sorted, I may have been tempted.

What I think is mean is when people overbuy just to sell on and make money. This doesn't appear to be the case in this instance.

A straightforward thank you to the OP would suffice though don't you think rather than bragging that you have three when others missed out. Don't understand why people feel the need to do this

    Result! Thanks OP!

Called into my local branch on the offchance as I was out anyway. Had 1 left. Assistant said the store had been quiet yesterday, but had been really busy selling these since opening. Wonder why?

Trynsave was simply stating a valid point which I'm sure most people would feel the same.
I have three kids. Last month I chose to go for two Samsung Tablet at £120 after CB each. To prevent a riot Xmas day I've picked up one of these for £45 but I would not of hesitated buying three had I not already bought two Samsungs. If someone has a valid reason to buy three (although website states limited to two per customer) then go for it. I miss out on bargains time after time, life goes on.
  • D'oh forgot to say thanks. Thanks fishing-girl! :j

Just got the one and still would have if I got it from carphone warehouse, no point taking all the stock when you could be giving others a chance to get one. It's nicer to make do with one allow someone else to make do with one then be happy having two. However I should have got 6 (how many they said were in stock for price promise) just to spite PCWorld for being so awkawrd in matching the price.

If you put a sim card in you will be able to access the internet over the mobile phone network as well as over wifi
You could get a sim from Ovivo for example which would give you 500mb a month free

Just had a quick look at it and it says not 3g so not sure if it takes a sim or not ???
Scratch that idea as no sim, so wifi only
It's not just about the money

I am with you there. When I bought one instore this morning, the sales girl asked how many I wanted as apparently some customers were trying to buy loads.

Some people are serial posters quoting their multiple buys. (You know who you are). Now I have no problem either with people buying multiple bargains for their own use, but do they need to brag? Let them stop and think how others who may have missed out may read their posts and suspect, rightly or wrongly, that they were gloating.

By all means, inform the forum that the deal is still on where you are, or keep people informed if stock is running out, but a "I got loadsa bargains" isn't needed.
