Are you representing NRAM together customers based in Scotland?0

Hi - how do we get hold of the questionnaire as referred to by you?
We would be very interested in being included in this class action/complaint.0 -
We have started the ball rolling with NRAM. We have had counsels opinion on the merits of the legal arguments and the cases. Its very good and very positive in light of the recent case law on unfairness.
We have everything in place now so its just a case of getting the questionnaires back so we can review the cases. Things look very positive, especially as we have just secured an unfairness ruling under s140A on a different lender, and the Court in that case awarded over £10k .

With regard to the proposed legal action by Howlett Clarke - some advice please.
Am now in the position to pay off the loan element of the NRAM agreement - if any legal challenge was successful do people think any compensation would be applied to accounts that had been paid off? Or would it be a better idea to pay a lump sum off the mortgage?0 -
Hi,
I dont see that it would be of any detriment to you if you paid off the loan.
The plan at the minute is to run a small number of test cases, if these cases are successful then we will have a view from the Court on how to deal with these matters and as a result it should make settling all the other cases much easier.
The Court can declare the relationship unfair even if the relationship has ended, so it doesnt matter if you pay the loan off.
were now in the process of writing to everyone to update them so watch this space.0 -
Hi
Could I please be added to receive a questionnaire please? We have ur moved house and separated our mortgage from Northern rock but have still got 20 years left to pay with £20k balance. The hike in interest rate for separating was 5% but it's burden round our neck we want rid off! Thanks x0 -

We took out 30k in 2005 and still have 25k to pay at 4.79% Apr initially not 9.79%. Feel like it not gone anywhere in a hurry despite the time we've paid it. Was paying 183 per month now 240. Anyone similar?0

Hi I got myself into loads of debt after m marriage ended. I had a mortgage and together loan with northern rock. I eventually had house repossessed and there was a shortfall of about 5k on house sale plus 24 k left of loan< although been paying it for 6 years. Anyway I have been paying nram £100 a month and next rview is September. However I checked my credit report this week and both the shortfall and together loan say closed and settled in 2013 with a 0 balance. Can anyone advise what this means?0
