Sounds promising but guess he's going to need a decent number of people to sign up in order to make it viable?0

Seems so: https://consumercreditlitigationanddebtcollection.wordpress.com/2016/01/20/nram/I blogged a while back on the NRAM matter, in particular the NRAM v Mcadam v Hartley case which went before the Court of Appeal at the tail end of last year.
As a result of that case, i began looking into NRAM and their credit agreements over £25000 which were offered under the NRAM together mortgage scheme, and which were the subject of the NRAM Court of Appeal case.
So, if you have the NRAM together loan which was over £25k please feel free to get in touch, particularly if you can answer yes to ALL of the questions below.- Did you have a NRAM Together loan?
- Was the loan over £25,000?
- Did the credit agreement say that it was regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974?
- As a result of the NRAM case, are you now under the belief that your loan is not regulated by the CCA 1974?
- Did you enter into the agreement with NRAM because you believed that you had the protections of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 on t his loan?

Would guess that those 5 points apply to most on here so would suggest that people at least register an interest with the Solicitor.
Proving that you only entered in to the agreement because it said it was regulated by the CCA may be tricky however surely the onus should be on NRAM to prove otherwise as the error was made by them?0 -
I stopped paying my together unsecured loan several months ago and they've defaulted me. They can sing for the money. 10 years paying a 25k loan and only about 1k paid off. Just robbery. Even without the paperwork and deception from NR, the usurious rates are just outrageous. I've paid over 25k in interest. Not interested in paying any more , can't pay won't pay.:j0

I can't find the email address Fermi refers to in his/her quote referring to 5 questions to be answered concerning NRAM together loans. Can you help?
I have only just joined this forum as I had forgotten my password and every time I contacted MSE about this I never received an email back. Tried once more and have now succeeded!0 -
