Did NRAM say that they did know the contracts weren't CCA regulated? If they did, then surely we do have a case of fraudulent misrepresentation?
Where can we find that they admitted to knowing?

Possibly, but there is a better way of nailing them than bringing mis rep claims, plus under mis rep you carry the burden of proving fraud and mis rep. Think about it :)

Hi guys, I am in contact with a solicitor who specialises in bad practice from banks.
Anyway, he thinks we may have a claim against Nram and is considering taking on the case.
He is well respected and has lots of experience.

    Fingers crossed :T

  • Hi. Relatively new to all this but would be interested to see what the options moving fwd are.

We went through a mortgage advisor in 2007 and we had a mortgage in principle with Scottish Widows but this fell through. The advisor arranged a together mortgage from Northern Rock. Checking the paperwork from the advisor.. they state that the unsecured element was CCA...this was quite important as the unsecured was used to consolidate some education related loans. I am debating whether or not to contact the advisor and make a complaint.

It may also be that this documentation could be used in a future claim...Just let me know.

    Cheers
    Girth
