I never said it was up to me...I'm just discussing an opinion on a forum.

"It's time for people to move on from this"

"I'm just advising people to get on with their lives"

"There is nothing left to fight though."

Are you a lawyer able to answer this question with authority?

Surely when the mistake came to light they should have rectified it and been legally obliged to do so. Has anyone received any revised documentation?

Our case is in limbo with the Ombudsman awaiting this judgement, I will certainly be asking about the lack of revised documentation and the validity of the contract. I suggest others do the same.

Perhaps useful discussion thread here on a more 'legal' focused forum.

  • Maybe it's not worth arguing about CPR's views?

I for one would love us to get together and still fight this. If there is a way then you have my support. I'll be monitoring this to see if anyone with more legal knowledge than me comes up with a viable plan.

I'll be going to see a financial advisor about any possible way to rid myself of NRAM. It's not going to be easy, and I'm sure they will now make it difficult after today's decision may give them more confidence to continue their policy of customer lashing! ;)

My advice would be to grab your financial bull by the horns and try and move forward assuming that we will never get the result we deserve, but never stop fighting this battle on the sidelines. You never know. Years from now we may receive some type of redress for miss selling.

My thoughts are with all of the customers in my position. Some of your posts on this forum suggest that you were really hoping even relying on a positive result. For those people I hope you can see past today and come up with a plan.

    Good luck everyone.

I have no idea why that was considered trolling so agreed with him on that. He just disagreed with others.

I was simply asking this person if they were talking with any authority when they say there is nothing left to fight. It doesn't appear to be that clear yet.

Having been involved in looking at our options in quite some detail since the start of this whole debarcle, I hate to say it but I'm inclined to agree with CPR25.

The burden of what we would need to prove to win a misrepresentation case, alongside the cost of funding one, are not to be underestimated.

I'm as disappointed as everyone else but maybe it's time to move on

Of course there is no authority on my part...every man/woman in this country has a right to appeal/fight/question any legal matter....I'm simply giving an opinion.
