I'm not an NRAM employee....I'm an NRAM customer and will benefit if the appeal goes in our favour.
I'm just being realistic based on the information in the public domain, based on specialist commentary thats available on the case and based on my own personal opinion.
Maybe, I'm subconsciously preparing myself for the worst. I don't know.
Ultimately, anything can happen in a court of law and although I expect the outcome to go in NRAMs favour I wouldn't be shocked if it didn't.
I of course hope there is one result and I hope that result makes life that little bit easier for those currently struggling.I'm not an NRAM employee either, and though I haven't posted much on this thread, have been on the forum for years.
I am a confirmed pessimist though! Hoping I'm wrong
I wholeheartedly apologise to you both for my childish and ill thought comments. They were rather tongue in cheek but nonetheless not meant with any malice. It was a result of frustration of a wait that's nearly over. I too have periods when I think it's not going our way and relate to your assessments of the transcript.
We've all got our own stories to tell, but our lives would be that much easier with the right result tomorrow. Good luck everyone (ps I'm out of posting exile if allowed?)0 -

I've been following this thread for a while.
We took a together mortgage back in Dec 2007 with a 25k loan so interested to see what is going to happen today.
I am a bit confused though, if it does go in our favour is it just a % of the interest we have paid that will be refunded or a refund of all interest paid? Obviously ours will just go on our loan that is outstanding but I wont be complaining at that!
I don't think it will go in our favour, however but keeping my fingers crossed!0 -
If successful, redress is likely to be interest over a 4-6 yr period returned plus 8%. Misselling would be alot less but, my understanding is there is also a teeny possibility that we could be put back to the situation before we took out the loan.
Anyone else ?0 -
I don't want to think about it today... too nervous!
How or when do we find out what the outcome is?0 -
Sched for 0945. Prepare yourself for the worst and anything else is a bonus. Even though I know we are owed it, have a horrible feeling it's gonna go against us todayLiam :money::beer:0
