This whole thing has gone on that long I think I've met myself coming back!0

Me too, all will come out in the wash soon 😂0

Is this ruling final final final? As in, no more appeals whichever way it goes? It would be so good to know one way or the other because if there's anything more annoying than not getting anything at the end of all this, it's the thought of another few years of hoping and STILL not getting anything! I'd far rather know for definite now and I can stop wondering!0

Possible, next step would be 'Supreme Court', but again to be heard there must be a genuine point of law.0 -
I recently wrote a letter to Richard Banks (CEO of NRAM) in which I highlighted my dissastisfaction as to the level of transparency surrounding the issue of Together Mortgage loans in excess of £25,000.
Having spent many hundreds of hours researching there are some very simply questions I believe we all deserve answers to and so I put these down for Mr Banks to answer.
In refusing to answer the questions Mr Banks wrote
"I am not going to engage in one to one correspondence on this matter or respond to your specific questions. If you wish to gain a greater understanding of the issue and timelines I would refer you to the independent report by Deloitte which is published on our website."
The "Project Spice" report by Deloiite contains no mention to the specific issue of loans in excess of £25,000.
See what you think and if you want to help me fight for these questions to get answered please see "Together Mortgage Action Group" on facebook (maybe someone can post the link). Like the page and check back regularly. Maybe if Richard Banks wont answer the questions we can find a previous employee who will!!
Questions
1. When was this issue first brought to your personal attention?
2. Who first reported the issue to the NRAM board and when?
3. When was the first recorded case of either a member of staff or a customer expressing concern as to the accuracy of CCA agreements in excess of £25,000?
4. During the many thousands of these transactions that took place, how many solicitors acting on behalf of a borrower ever questioned the validity of the multiple statements on the agreements claiming the loans were covered by the CCA and what response(s) was / were given?
5. How many times (if any) has NRAM looked to enforce the terms of the CCA in a UK Court against a customer with a loan in excess of £25,000?
6. Has any NRAM customer(s) ever appealed an action ordered by a UK Court on the grounds that their loan was in excess of £25,000 and so (in their opinion) not covered by the CCA?

7. If “Yes” to question 6;
a. what was the courts decision?
b. was any such ruling of any earlier appeal and its possible relevance made available to the relevant parties in NRAM PLC v McAdam & Hartley?
8. Finally, what reassurances can you provide affected customers that at no time, either before or after the banks nationalisation, have they been knowingly kept in the dark regarding potential errors in their agreements?0 -
I've liked your Facebook page :-)0

Is the appeal scheduled in for today? If so, fingers crossed!!0

Fingers crossed everyone. We could all do with some good news !!!
Today and tomorrow, I believe.0 -
Any ideas on when we might hear? I know somebody said July or something crazy.. I hope not!0
-
Nram website says That they cannot be certain when the outcome will be known but expect it to be before the end of July. I would take that to mean at the very latest. Not sure why a yes or no needs that much consideration but maybe that's because I'm not a ubber dubber lawyer getting paid bucket loads of dosh !0
